Booked a superior twin room at the hostel, which was far from that. Firstly the room and the hallways were very grubby and smelt heavily of damp. The bed was very rickety. The room faced onto the main road with no net curtains or anything so had to have the curtains drawn constantly. The room was also so loud from the main road out front and some sort of drum banging ceremony at the temple across the road at 7am. But worst of all there were a lot of ants down the side of the mattress and climbing up the wall. We informed the girl at reception and she said someone would come and take a look but they didn't. Could feel them crawling on you at night - ended up having to pull the bed away from the wall (this then revealed a filthy floor under the bed so no wonder there were ants in there). The only positives were the common room downstairs with free access to computers and a chill space. This was very nice compared to the rooms upstairs. For the higher price we paid for the room we were very very disappointed.
It was a budget accommodation with a great location. We check in with my family and its great bonding in a small room also clean bathroom and good wifi connection but the complementary sim is not available that time..You will definitely meet friends in their self service pantry and i like their simple yet overflowing breakfast :) Thank you for the nice stay :)
I stay here for 3 nights with my friends and family of 12 people + 1 toddler. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room quite good and clean. I love the triple bedroom but the electricity plug only 1 for 3 people. Pantry quite good for asian people but for westerns too small especially in breakfast time. I love the hairdryer in womens bathroom. Good wifi connection. And we got sim card as complementary which is very helpfull. We enjoy our stay here.. thanks and keep it up!
We would recommend to stay in this hostel because of the positive, friendly service staff, the great location and atmosphere. The price is (for singapore) really good and the rooms, as well as the bathrooms, were very clean. Breakfast was very easy but we definetly liked it. They had enough toast, jam, peanutbutter cornflakes and milk for everyone and a really good coffee (and tea) machine where you can get coffee for 24 hours (including hot and cold fresh water). Everything was included and we would stay again. Thank you for the nice stay.
Really cool idea and great location. Rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms, the only thing I would say is that your paying for location really. There's no atmosphere whatsoever and it smells like damp throughout the hallways and the room.
The Location is really close to Chinatown MRT and you can easily walk to Maxwell Hawker where you can find the legendary Hainan Chicken rice. You can find so many restaurants and souvenir shops around this area. The room size and the bed are alright. but somehow our locker for baggage are not working. The breakfast are pretty basic, but definitely generous in variety and amount. The staffs are not that friendly but that's okay, not a big issue here. The only thing that's bothering me is the bathroom cleanliness. The stall is quite small and some of the door lock are not working.
Room is really good, i stayed in 6 mixed room. There's locker to put your luggage in the room, the bed is really good. The location is really near to the chinatown mrt. about 5 minutes by walking. You can find so many restaurant around here, and you can search souvenir with cheap price around this hostel. The breakfast is simple but complete. there's sereal, bread, milk, apple, and that's good enough. The staff so kind they will help you and when you check-in too early and in they breakfast time the staff will allow you to take breakfast. The toilet is not really clean. but it's oke. overall this is the best hostel so far taht i stayed in singapore.
The breakfast was pretty basic, but definitely generous in variety and amount. The location is superb-just minutes away from the Chinatown MRT and the size of the room and bed are alright. Free towels for private room, too. WiFi worked well. The only thing that bothered me was the bathroom walls. They need some scrubbing. Other than that, its all pretty good.
Awesome stay!!! We were walk ins since we had issues with the hostel we booked originally (no this one)..all i can say is that the staff were nice, bfast was good and clean rooms and baths..This was my first trip so overall I would rate it 5 star for the price we had to pay..
Room is very comfortable；Staff are friendly；Facilities is enough to use！ To summarize for a word ：「Excellent!!
