Glynn Cottage is beautifully decorated, very homey and very clean. We had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were attentive and responded quickly to any questions we had. It was perfect for our quick friends trip. It is close to hiking, boating and cute shops in Smithville. The weekend we visited there was an art open house featuring many local artists in the area called Off the Beaten Path. Very neat! We especially enjoyed eating at the Twisted Oar which is close by.

I brought my son and 2 grandsons to the area for the kayaking trip to Burgess Falls. This cabin was about 10 minutes from the outfitters we went with. Very convenient and the cabin was super clean and organized! We didn’t have time to cook, but the kitchen looked super equipped with everything that you need. Very easy checking! Loved our stay!

The house is in perfect condition, beautiful and great setup. Upstairs room is our favorite, we watched movie as a big group and really enjoyed the night after a long day driving. Kitchen is great, fully loaded. Very clean, very modernized. The bedroom downstairs is huge, and the young men in our group really happy with it. Beautiful area. Reasonable price per night. Great communication from host. Our group included 9 people and very comfortable here. Really recommend this.

Relaxing stay

The property is very well kept, beautifully decorated, supplied with all you will need for your stay. Great for families with a downstairs bunk room. The owners are super accommodating and make sure you have everything you need for your stay! Loved the peace and quiet! Had a great stay, near the lake, Cummins falls and kayaking down Caney Fork river!

Awesome Lake House!

We loved our stay. The cabin had plenty of spaces to hang for two families with teenagers. We loved the comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, and the screened in porch! We will be back!

Fun Family Get Away

My extended family from Iowa travelled to Tennessee for a family wedding. Everyone loved the great proximity to Hurricane Marina for our day of boating on the lake. The driveway and terrain was a surprise for people from the flatlands of Iowa, but they all had the best time and enjoyed this beautiful home!

Absolutely Beautiful!

Stayed here while my son played in a baseball tournament in Baxter. Love this place! We had everything we needed! The views are beautiful and you are right in the middle of all the wildlife! Communication with the property owner was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect !

The house was sooo clean! Lots of personal touches made it so cozy. Kitchen was well stocked. No detail was left unthought of. The owners were very responsive to all my questions leading up to our trip. They have a very informative binder with lots of details about the home. Owners continued to be very responsive during our stay. We would definitely stay there again

My review

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house was nice and had plenty of room for our family. The little ones enjoyed the bunk beds. I personally enjoyed the screened in back deck. The parking was tricky. Not a lot of space. Other than that it was excellent!

We had a great stay at this house. Highly recommend this location. Wish I had more time to sit around and enjoy the peaceful setting. Everything is just as it is listed. If we get back up there we will request using it again.

Beautiful Lake Getaway

This cottage was the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing girls weekend. We found it to be spotless when we entered. The interior was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was easy to work in and had everything needed to prepare some delicious meals. The beds were all very comfortable. The outdoor seating made it a pleasure to enjoy the late afternoons with cocktails in hand! Having the option to sit on a covered screen porch was definitely a plus. It is situated very close to Hurricane Marina making access to Center Hill Lake very easy. We were pleasantly surprised that there were so many fun activities within easy driving distance. We enjoyed ourselves at this lovely property and will be returning in the future!

A must stay at Center Hill Lake!!!

We we’re looking for a quick getaway to the lake & this place was everything we needed and more!!! Incredibly clean, close to the Marina, great outdoor space, quiet, and an amazing interior. The owners really thought of everything for this VRBO!! Would be perfect for a family gathering or a weekend away. 10/10 recommend!
