We enjoyed a week stay at John’s property for our honeymoon. It had everything we needed and even sitting by the fire just topped it off. The ability to buy firewood from many places close by made it very convenient.We had trouble with the TV and the Internet, but John was very quick to fix the problem and we were very pleased.

When I arrived at the site, the door was locked and no code had been sent. The manager did get back to me relatively quickly but it meant i had to get on wifi and login into VRBO. The space was hot. There was one window AC. TV is problematic. The bench broke, the propane tank was rusted closed (I replaced it). There is a recycling bin but no recycling (I guess you take it home). The location is wonderful though and the cabin is clean and well-kept. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but thought everyone should be aware of our concerns.

Very cute

The place was very cute. Cute neighborhood nice for walking. It was close to the wedding venue we were attending. We did have an issue getting the TV to work the first night but I did manage to get it figured out the next morning. The only issue we had was we did have to clean the microwave before using it. That is something that should be checked during the cleaning process before other guests arrive. The lights in the downstairs bedroom were like strobe lights, they flickered terrible. I do not know if there is something wrong with the bulbs or the wiring. My 86 yr old mother was in that room so she could not use the light which made it a little difficult for her but we managed. There was nothing so terrible that would prevent us from renting again. We really did enjoy our stay there.Thank you so much

Great Location!

We attended a weekend wedding at the Preserve so the location was perfect! The cabin was good. Totally perfect for what our plans entailed. The property was on the lake so that was also very nice. The outside was just ok. Tons of debris from the woods on the decks and furniture so we couldn’t sit outside. Also the tv did not work.

Communication Strained. Towels Excluded.

The place is definitely rustic. We were informed of the need to bring towels only after initiating a request for check-in instructions. The host’s note included a reminder to bring towels which was news to us. We travel worldwide and have never not had towels provided in rentals. His response was to go buy them. Arriving late at night and then having to shop for towels which indicate they should be washed before using was not helpful. Shocking that VRBO doesn’t call out basics not included.

Nice cozy cabin

Cabin was clean and welcoming. Nice decor. Exterior grounds could use some sprucing up, The property is in a convenient location so we were able to explore several areas within a fairly large radius going southwest to Lake Winnipesaukee and North to North Conway and much more.

Great location and nice little cabin.

This is my second time staying in this cabin. It is a true cabin in the woods and very close to White Lake. The back deck is nice for morning coffee, although it is not as private as in the past with the new house next door being quite close. The cabin was clean and the upstairs window fans kept the bedrooms cool enough at night. Overall it was a great week and we spent everyday sitting at the beautiful lake. Also did the hike around the lake twice.
