Idyllic island. Great location and amazing beach

We had a wonderful five nights at this hotel. It is ideally located on an amazing white beach that is quite and does not have lots of backpackers and bars. The staff were excellent and sorted out a number of issues we had with our travel arrangement. Finally Koh Rong is definitely worth visiting for a relaxing and rejuvenating break. The location of this resort is wonderful right on the best beach on Koh Rong. But that is the only good thing about this resort, accommodation is extremely rustic & overpriced & basic services are not routine ie housekeeping. The food offer is poor with very slow service again overpriced unusual as we stayed in the low season so not very busy. I wouldn’t recommend this resort for anything but the view, if that seduces you don’t pay more than £35 per night & not the £1,700 listed price which is daylight robbery

Abbiamo soggiornato in 2 persone in questo splendido piccolo resort, posto proprio davanti alla spiaggia più bella di Koh Rong, tenuta pulita da un efficiente e cortese staff, sempre pronto a rispondere ad ogni richiesta. Ringraziamo Kimsan ed il suo staff per averci accolti in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante, abbiamo mangiato veramente benissimo! Consiglio a tutti gli amanti del sud est asiatico che vogliono rilassarsi qualche giorno.

Paradies mit Schattenseiten

Die Lage vom Long Beach Resort ist fantastisch. Der Strand ein Traum. Auch unser Zimmer -Deluxe Suite mit Meerblick- sehr groß und den Bildern entsprechend. Im Badezimmer waren in der Duschecke jedoch große dunkle feuchte Flecken. Es fehlten Strandhandtücher, der Haartrockner und Seife, die aber nach einem Gang zur Rezeption gebracht wurden. Eine Zimmerreinigung gab es während unseres 3 tägigen Aufenthalts nicht. Es wurden nur täglich 2 Wasserflaschen auf den Balkontisch gestellt. Das Frühstück kann aus einer Menükarte bestellt werden. Der Service ist sehr nett aber schleppend. Die Milch zum Kaffee kommt erst wenn dieser schon kalt ist und vom bestellten Menü wird nur die Hälfte gebracht. Die Liegen am Strand sind eine Katastrophe. Es handelt sich um Holzliegen mit einer 2 cm dicken Mattenauflage auf der jede einzelne Holzlatte durchdrückt. Wäre alles halb so wild, wenn der Preis für die Unterkunft nicht über 100€ die Nacht liegen würde. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Das Wort Resort ist fehl am Platz. Am letzten Tag kam dann auch noch eine Gruppe Chinesen - 3 Familien mit Kind und Kegel- an, die die Anlage kompett für sich einnahmen. Im von vielen Gästen besuchten Restaurant am Abend stellten sie nach reichlich kunsumiertem Alkohol eine mitgebrachte Musikbox auf, aus der sie über Handy lautstarke Musik abspielten. Viele Gäste beschwerten sich daraufhin, aber von Seiten der Unterkunft fühlte sich leider niemand zuständig dem Treiben ein Ende zu setzen.

Nicht schön sehr ungepflegt das Resort alles voller Müll ich war 6 Tage da und es hat immer nach Plastik gestunken das wird auch neben deinen Bungalow verbrannt auf der Terrasse sitzen war dadurch nicht möglich spinnen Käfer hat es auch genug im Zimmer gegeben mit ruhig schlafen war da auch nicht

Ruhige Traumlage - sehr einfache Ausstattung

Ich wollte wegen dem Sonnenuntergang unbedingt an den Weststrand. Am Sunset Beach gab es nur dieses bezahlbare "Ressort". Es ist jedoch kein Ressort. Es ist eine einfache Unterkunft. Auf manches sollte das Management besser achten (z.B. kaputte Liegenauflagen). Mein Zimmer war im Hauptgebäude, direkt neben dem Personalzimmer. Man hat auf seiner Terrasse keine Privatsphäre. Dieses Gebäude soll lt. Manager jedoch abgerissen werden. Im hinteren Bereich werden derzeit neue Bungalows gebaut. Das Zimmer war wie ein Provisorium bzw. wie eine Baustelle. Auch im Bad waren die Gipswände nicht gestrichen. Die Klimaanlage war neu, lies sich gut regulieren. Einen Safe gibt es nicht, bei Ausflügen oder abends sollte man seine Wertsachen mitnehmen. Um 22 Uhr wird in der Anlage das Licht ausgemacht. Entweder man hat ein Moped, oder man lässt sich am frühen Abend in den Hauptort fahren. Man kann auch in das Royal Sands zum Dinner gehen (50 EUR pro Person). Gestört hat mich die laute Musik auf tagsüber auf der Terrasse. Zu meiner Zeit war eine chinesische Reisegruppe da (Jugendliche), die bis 23 Uhr lt. gefeiert haben. Frühstück ist einfach landestypisch ok. Das Restaurante bei Tag (z.B. Pommes Frites) war nicht so gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Im Preis inbegriffen war der Transfer vom und zum Hafen. Ich habe mit dem Fahrer auch eine separate Inselrundfahrt gemacht.

Our stay was great! Rooms were comfy and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpfull with everything! I would give 5/5 but there was about 20cm geggo living inside our room and it was loud by nights so that is why 4/5. Most of all we have a wonderfull time and the beach is amazing.

What a location! Truely an island paradise. The view from our room was stunning. Great place to relax, take in all the shades of blue and green throughout the day and the pinks and yellows of the sunset. Tin Tin was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and he really made our stay most memorable. Would love to return soon!
