Bad hotel, partially closed and non operating

No working : gym, restaurant, swimming pool very dirty. Hotel is partially close and it doesn't work complete. It's a disaster and Expedia did not advised me about this terrible condition.

Frustrating and no WiFi

WiFi did not work entire 3 day stay. No towels in room when I arrived- took 10 minutes to try to explain to staff what a towel was. Front desk staff unable to communicate in basic English. Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich they bring a tuna sandwhich with no cheese. Struggle to explain what a grill cheese sandwhich is- they bring back the Tuna sandwich with cheese. Restaurant staff cannot communicate in basic English nor do they understand what is written in the menu. Big clump of long hair in shower when I arrived. Extremely loud music from bars could be heard in room until 1am. Would not stay here again.

Minor problems, but otherwise great hotel.

Hotel was as described. Big rooms, good pool, great breakfast. Location is perfect - two blocks from Serendipity beach. Customer service was very ordinary (the worst we experienced in Cambodia) - very little english spoken - but don't let that put you off. For the price, the hotel is worth it. The breakfast was excellent (the best we had in Cambodia). No hot water in showers, but given the heat that's not a real issue. We did not get the room we booked and paid for (twin instead of double), but largely due to making our booking the day before arrival. We left happy about our stay.

Great hotel for shore holidays

Great address for a stay in Sihanoukville: room was and spacious, reception helpful and welcoming. Great pool and fitness (pity it closes at 8PM). Breakfast was great. Pity staff was not fluent in English.

Cambodian Hotel

Cambodian Hotel. The hotel lacks some greenery and there are few plants to provide a tropical feel. The plastic grapes on the plastic vines near the pool are an insult to decor. The tiles around the entire pool area are slippery and a death trap. The breakfast is awful. Little fresh food, a meagre display of plastic coated cheese, slices of "ham", raw onion rings and tiny tomatos. The fruit selection is no better, tired looking and the bread is dry and flavorless. Dont worry about trying to toast it...the conveyor toaster barely warms the braed, let alone toasts it. . We had to beg for a bagette which was thawed and rubberly. This could be a great hotel in a good location with a bit more interest shown by staff and the managers.

Nice family hotel near the beach. Generous breakfast included with the room. A lot of children, therefore very noisy, starting at 6 in the morning in the swimming pool (which all rooms overlook). Some problems with room conditions: low water pressure in the shower and door of some rooms could not close properly.

Not my first choice

This is more of a "motel" than it is a "resort." The staff was helpful in booking tours and taking care of room issues-- which are plentiful. The safe was broken and took a long time to fix then replace. Room has that dirty feel, like old motel 8. The complex is circle so the sound of nightlife echoed in the wee hours of the night. not sure if there were rats, but we definitely heard scrambling of little feet at night. it was frightening! Overall, it was tolerable considering Occhealial beach doesnt have very many nice hotel accomodations. We took a tuk tuk to Sokha Beach Resort and hung out there. Serendipity was a bit crowded.
