Just as Expected

Room was exactly as described. The view was breathe-taking. Too narrow a window for check-in (2-4)pm, especially when arriving by train and trying to find the ever elusive taxis in Siena. There are 3 flights of stairs to handle and no elevator, but this is typical for older hotels in Italy. WiFi would have been nice.

Well located in historical part of Siena. 10min walk from main sights and close to key amenities (grocery, bus stop).

Convenient

No lift...too many steps to count! No one answered the main entrance door. A young boy that lived in the building had a key and let us in. Nice bathroom, but the room was large with many beds and a loft.

Struttura ubicata all'interno di uno stabile storico, con alte volte e stucchi a parete e soffitto. In posizione ottimale per visitare Siena. Il parcheggio gratuito è a 5 minuti di cammino dalla struttura e siamo a 5 minuti da piazza del Campo. Purtroppo chi ha curato gli interni ha fatto un pessimo lavoro. La camera è comoda, spaziosa ma rifinita male: pavimenti in linoleum effetto legno (terribile!), bagno completo ma ordinario, mobili arrangiati. Nella mia camera c'era anche un soppalco, direi "tirolese", in legno con scala si accesso ripidissima. Direi che da una location nel centro di Siena in un contesto storico, mi sarei aspettato molto di più.

Non era un hotel ma un affittacamere modesto.

Dal sito di Expedia la stanza prenotata per il ponte dei morti, era bella, ma quella assegnata era molto modesta, con una scala che andava in un soppalco per noi inutile. Nel bagno le asciugamani per il viso mancavano e non c'era nessuno a cui chiederle,perche' non esisteva una Reception, non essendo un hotel ma un affittacamere. I pannetti del bidet erano sgualciti come gia'usati, o non stirati. La finestra era coperta da una impalcatura e plastiche che impedivano la areazione della stanza.Per quanto pagato si poteva avere un Hotel almeno a 3 stelle, con 1' colazione e reception

il pessimo gusto e l'abbandono

Residenza d'epoca ristrutturata ed arredata con pessimo gusto,accoglienza pessima ,odore di fogna nei bagni.La proprietaria ci ha guidato alla stanza per telefono;molto gentile ma surreale!La ragazza del checkin,molto fredda e poco disponibile, ci ha telefonato mentre eravamo al museo per farci rientrare in albergo e fare la registrazione!Eppure avevamo scritto e telefonato per comunicare l'orario di arrivo... La posizione è centralissima ,ma l' immobile in ristrutturazione e sembra abbandonato,insomma,non proprio come sembra dalle foto!

Dårlig service , men sentral beliggenhet

Vi ankom kl 1800. Låst dør. Tilfeldige gjester åpnet døra gir oss både på gateplan og for å komme inn i residensen u 2 etg. Ingen betjent resepsjon . Da vi ringte sa hun som var oppgitt som kontakt at døren skulke være åpen, hun var ikke selv tilgjengelig . Noe som ikje stemte . Store og rene rom når vi tilslutt kom oss inn.
