Started bad, but ended great!

We unfortunately had a late flight so we arrived at the Siem Reap airport a bit later than we were used to. We were excited to get to our hotel and relax for the night. We made our way to the designated “pick up” area to try and find our requested driver. After 25 mins with no luck, we began to worry that the hotel may have forgotten our request or that something else may have happened. I sent out an email to the manager that I had prior correspondence with and surprisingly he replied within minutes. Turns out that there was some miscommunication on his part to his staff about our driver, so he asked us to take a taxi because he had no available driver. He was apologetic and made sure to let us know that we would be reimbursed the taxi’s fee. After that, everything else was great. They were attentive. The room was cozy. The pool and the pool area was relaxing. The room and the service made up for that intial mix up.

Value for money - A very pleasant stay.

Well, there were hiccups initially and although we were annoyed,all was forgotten as the staff immediately rectified our issues. They did it with a smile and maintained their politeness at all times.Staff is also very friendly and helpful and I suppose these are qualities or assuarances we look for when selecting a place to live.Bed was comfortable.Breakfast was simple and tasty.Location is a short walking distance to Pub Street.Will definitely stay here if I visit Siem Reap again.

Great find & great value for money

Lovely friendly attentive staff, room was large modern & clean with good air con! Nice pool area with pool towels provided, good variety of tv channels only down side was the insects - we got bitten round pool and in room but not by Mozzies but some sort of fly maybe a good idea to put insect burners round pool then the hotel would be perfect!!! 9 out of 10 from us!!! would highly recommend!

Warm hospitality with lovely decoration

Very good price in the nice location (walkable to night market, old market and pub street ). The area is quiet with some good restaurant nearby. Bed Room, toilet, central area and Swimming pool are clean and tidy. We booked room on expedia but it seem like the room we got is not similar to tge photo we saw... However, after the complaint , the staff was very kind... He changed the room for us.

Fabulous Boutique Hotel

The hotel was much better we had expected, the staff were just fantastic and helpful, we were actually sad to leave. We had an interesting arrival transfer in as they came to pick 4 of us up at the airport in the local tuk tuk -which is a carriage towed by a motorbike, however we fitted and that more or less got us into ''holiday fun'' mode. The hotel itself was was simple and tasteful, yet had all the necessary mod cons and everything worked as it should . The added bonus was a nice plunge pool to coold down in after a day out sightseeing. The location itself is away from the noise and madness of pub street, with convenience stores, a pharmacy and several eateries just minutes away. The hotel has its own very decent restaurant and located next door is one of Siem Reap's better restaurants. It's very good value, couldn't ask for more from a place we booked only to sleep!( we were our from morning to nights). Food wise: in Siem Reap it's better to go for the high end restaurants as the prices are not much more than the usual tourist places on Pub Street -and you get much better food! Most places are no more than a USD5 tuk tuk ride away

Wonderful gem of a hotel

SONYN was a very pleasant surprise. We weren't sure what to expect as the hotel was 2 weeks old when we booked but we were very happy with our entire experience in Cambodia. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our window faced the hotel next door however it still got decent light and it felt very secluded. The included breakfast was very good every morning with eggs any way and coffee/tea, juice and fruit. We had a 3 floor walk up but that was a small price to pay for such a clean and new hotel with great staff. The pool area was very cool however it wasn't really hot enough to take a dip so my wife and I would chill and read by the pool. Very relaxing.

Nice new hotel, great location

We stayed a total of 5 nights with 1 day away in the middle. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The facilities were good and almost all the staff we encountered (except 1) were friendly and seemed to try hard to assist. Many of the staff were new so there were of course some issues from lack of experience, but we could see they wanted to help. We were very happy with this hotel, the facilities were clean and new so the linen and towels were in good condition. They were still renovating out the back so it was a bit noisy at times out the back during the day. It will look great when they finish this area. Didn't hear any noise from our rooms. But even the tradesman informed us before before embarking on using power tools which I thought was very considerate. The assistant manager, Pon was exceptionally kind and helpful. The pool is small and there are no sun lounges around the pool, but perhaps that will change soon. They have a large outdoor area at the back which will be a good place to relax or do you IT work when finished.

Um bom hotel, limpo e silencioso

A equipe do hotel é muito cordial e faz tudo que estiver ao alcance deles para resolver qualquer problema. O Ar condicionado funciona muito bem e a cama é muito confortável. Hotel bastante silencioso, localizado a poucos minutos da pub street caminhando, e com ótimas opçoes de restaurantes na mesma rua. Como é um hotel já um pouco antigo tem alguns pequenos problemas como o ralo do chuveiro que entupiu algumas vezes mas o problema foi prontamente resolvido ao informar na recepçao. A única coisa que me desagradou foi o translado do aeroporto que não apareceu, embora eu tivesse avisado o horário da minha chegada com 2 dias de antecedencia e acabei tendo que utilizar um taxi do aeroporto. Eu voltaria a me hospedar aqui devido ao custo benefício ser muito bom.

위치가 시내에 있어 이동하기 편리했고 주변 슈퍼도 편하게 이용했음. 걸어서 나이트 마켓, Pub Street 가기도 편하고 좋았음. 근처에 한국식당도 있어서 위치는 너무 좋은데, 저렴한 가격에 맞는 시설이므로 대체적으로 만족함. 저렴하게 자면서 많은 기대를 하지 말고 잠만 자러 들어온다 생삭하시면 됩니다~ 직원들은 친절해요~

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem Pool im Innenhof.

Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet, verfügt über ein Pool im Innenhof, ein kleines Restaurant / Frühstücksbereich und ein nettes Wartebereich. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist in Beton-Optik, sauber und funktionell. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Vorab wird man über die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten informiert, der Manager bietet auch verschiedene Tagesaktivitäten an. Bei der Buchung von Bustickets wurde bereitwillig geholfen. Vom Hotel aus erreicht man das Zentrum mit der lebendigen Pub Street und Nightmarket Street in 10min zu Fuß. Etwas näher befindet sich eine weitere Straße mit vielen kleinen, internationalen Lokalen. In unmittelbarer Nähe kann man Fahrräder oder auch Mopeds ausleihen.
