Grass in front and back needed needed mowing. The back yard was at knee high.Hedges at sidewalk took up 1/2 of the sidewalk making it difficult for our wives to manage.The appliances needed stronger electrical supply. Lights would flicker if anything else was on.The dishwasher didn't work.
