It's an old property but relatively clean. The room is small and even has no chair. Please do not order breakfast online! They do not offer breakfast. I do not know why there's an option to add the breakfast when booking the hotel. It's a scam. I wasted money for it.

Room issues

We were under the impressiom that we had booked two twin rooms but when we got there we were given two double rooms. The hotel couldn't fix this for us as they were fully booked for the rugby world cup. One of the boys had to sleep on the floor as he was not comfortable sharing a bed. The staff were friendly enough but spoke very little English, but I wouldn't hold that against them considering this is Japan, this did however make explaining the room situation a bit harder. Just be careful when booking a twin room.

The luggage storage is very neat since check in isn't until 4pm. However, it's a convenient location with a lot of restaurants around within a 10 minute walk. The room however was kind of small and the hallways were a little dark.

Some stayers were noisy along the corridor specially at night. We stayed at no-smoking room but the room doesn't smell nice, though room was clean enough. No hairbrush or comb at all. Shampoo and conditioner mix.

Satisfactory for a place like shizuoka and the ic

Stayed there for a night. The bed was really comfy. I just stayed for one night so I don't have any complaints regarding anything. It was clean and friendly staff. Five minutes walk from 7-11 and some other small izakayas. Calm and peaceful environment. The bed was really comfy but the room is small for more than 2 people. The bathroom is also small but satisfactory to me. The clothes hanger though wasn't good. It broke when I trying hang My coat. Definitely a good place for short stay.
