Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Large rooms and bathroom. Bedding & towels were good quality though the pillows were really hard & uncomfortable. Decor is ok but could do with a refresh. Pool is a good size but poolside needs a refurb. I didn’t use the jacuzzi or sauna as both were monopolised for the entire time I was in pool by a group of big fat men!

I visit regularly and it’s always a nice stay. Stag are always friendly. Bring earplugs if you’re staying on a Friday or weekend for work, in case there’s a wedding on. The gym has everything you need, I’ve tried the pool yet, but looks good. Pub grub is varied and ideal for work trips.

Nice spa break

Check in was easy. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Room was clean an tidy in a fairly quiet location. The beds are not thr comfiestand the pillows are hard but i did ask for a softer one which i got. Fire alarm went off 3 times while there. Once at 3am as someone was vaping in their room then at 11am and then again the next day for a drill. Leisure are was good although we found it annoying that they have chosen to close the club at 630 on a weekend. Found this inconvenient. Good range of food in the restaurant with many gluten free options. Prices not too bad

Unfortunately I wouldn't stay at this property again due to rude and inexperienced bar staff. Myself and other guests at the wedding we were attending were over charged more than once and although we complained not one of us had our lives overpayment refunded. It is a shame as it is a nice Hotel

Staff were welcoming. Hotel very dated and tired looking, the most horrid noises from 5:30am, you can hear every single noise from people using the bathroom in adjoining rooms, to screaming children and doors banging. No sound proof whatsoever in the room, worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Bathroom very dated, shower terrible, carpets old, stained and dated. No plug sockets next to the bed where you’d expect to plug in charges. No water in the room. Thankfully we didn’t have to stay long

Was really disappointed with this hotel… the grounds looked unkept and the room had cobwebs/ spiders. The walls are so thin we could hear the room next door for hours shouting taking till midnight. Also music playing from somewhere loud outside so shut the window…. Still heard the music. Also the bed was not comfy . Don’t like to leave a negative review but this was not a place to stay!

Beautiful hotel

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, from the reception to the bar and restaurant everything is decorated perfectly, the spa and pool facilities are great although the jacuzzi wasnt working, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the bathroom is very modern. When we arrived the children were given a gift bag each which i think is lovely touch. Would definitely recomment this hotel

This was a lovely place and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The twin room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant. There was a great choice and the food was delicious. The surroundings were beautiful and it was nice to be able to go for a walk after dinner.

We had a family room The second bed was kind of near the wall and radiator don’t think the corner has been given and attention could smelll damp when sleeping . The cupboard had cow webs its was good to have border biscuit with tea .The receptionist was really good Spa was useless was looking forward to it steam room was useless steam was not at its full Jacuzzi bubbles were not working sauna was not hot Breakfast was nice. I think spa was the down fall Other wise enjoyed the break

Booked a night away with my wife, picked a nice looking 4 star hotel. It is not 4 star and is very dated, but only fa polities were the golf club no other bars or restaurants. Room was meant to be an executive but had an adjoining door to the next room and was just not nice.
