Family getaway

Overall this was a great place to stay. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Had some problems with a ceiling fan, but was fixed the next day. Very relaxing. The only thing i would suggest is when someone is coming in, i would power wash the eves. Tons of spiders and webs, otherwise very clean on the outside wwebswebs.wcoming

It was fantastic many various levels enjoy upstairs side deck; two master bedrooms with ensuites powder room; grill; lower deck eating arrangement with hot tub great hanging out played corn hole connect four inside games outside fire area sit around campfire roast s’mores ; lower deck with lighting great to enjoy late night early morning — kayaks great fun oh don’t forget the life vests are provided in the outside storage room off the deck — I missed that lol Wonderful indoor and outdoor living to be completely enjoyable extra bedroom set up with single bunks on top extra basement guntwo double bed bunks sin

Lake Stay With Family!

The property has fantastic views and is located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed time together fishing, kayaking, swimming, and sunning. The hot tub and fire pit were a bonus! We had a couple of issues which included the outdoor areas not being clean and the ringing septic alarm. The alarm rang NUMEROUS times day and night. You can imagine how that was for the family. I was disappointed with the cleaning as I had specifically asked that extra attention be made in cleaning the outdoor area prior to our arrival. The outdoor cleaning issue was addressed right away. The alarm issue continued throughout our stay. They did send someone to check out the problem but, it persisted. It was a holiday weekend. During our stay, property management was readily available. A small refund was issued and appreciated. It’s a great lakefront spot for family gatherings. I hope the next group has an “issue free” time at this location.

Enjoyable getaway

We were very happy with our brief stay. There was great communication with the property managers, the house was clean, the kitchen very well stocked, extra amenities in the bathrooms, indoor and outdoor games, water accessories and wood for the fire pit! The only issue is that we didn’t stay long enough.

Fantastic visit to Lake Normas

This property is fantastic. It came with everything you could possibly need on vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked and allowed for easy meal prep. The entire house is well decorated with a charming sense of being in a lake house. We used the fire pit several times and was terrific. I will rent this house again!! Thank you to the owners for making this home so welcoming!

A haven in the tree tops

The photos don't do this house justice. Impressive view from above. Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable furniture, and fully stocked kitchen. We lacked for nothing. There was something for everyone - great dock, kayaks, multiple outdoor gathering areas for the whole family. Close to shopping, restaurants, golf. Wonderful vacation.

The Name is Accurate

Beautiful lake home with a view that encourages relaxation. A neighborhood suitable for walking would have made this location perfect for our crew. We had wifi connectivity issues and the property management team tried their best to resolve them. Could have been nearby construction issue. The kitchen was very well supplied although the knives were dirty and not sharp. Fortunately a knife steel and soap suds solved those issues! Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

Peaceful,playful and fun!

So good! Beautiful home. Amazing views. Close to shopping and restaurants (Eddie’s on the lake)…and best of all quiet! Floating on a raft or fishing on the dock, it’s all good. Ending the night in the hot tub made it perfection

Lovely lakehouse!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tree Top Getaway! The nice, huge windows were fabulous, letting in so much natural light and making us feel like we were outside even when were inside taking a break from the heat. The house was very clean. The pictures and descriptions are all very accurate. Lots of open space for adults upstairs and plenty of hangout space for teens downstairs. The kayaks and hot tub were both real treats! We enjoyed it all!!!

Fantastic time!

Our group of 10 could not have picked a better house! The space was more than enough, the windows are gorgeous, the ease to the dock to hang out is perfect. The only downside to this rental is the NC humidity - it can get fairly warm in the house without shades for the windows upstairs. Luckily, the water is just steps away to cool off! 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Nice Place!

The property is located on a relatively small inlet of Lake Norman. As a result, the entire water frontage is a 'no wake zone' and has very limited boat traffic. The road is also on a dead end, so we experienced only local traffic during our stay. Much of the property is newly refurbished and very clean. You can see where more improvements will be made, but nothing get in the way of a great visit. The appliances appear to be all new. The walk to the dock is not difficult nor very steep and the dock has a nice high top table and chairs. The side deck off the living room is a great place for morning coffee and enjoying a nice evening. Communications is very good and response to any questions comes quickly. There was no shortage of towels, paper products or soap. Location is close to restaurants and major grocery stores and gas stations.

Rainy Days

What a lovely lake house!! This house was super clean, beautifully decorated and had all the kitchen things, etc. for a wonderful stay. We had a very rainy stay, but despite that we did pop in the lake for a swim and some kayaking! Because of the rain, we were especially happy that the house was and smelled super clean. It would have impacted our stay if it had been otherwise! We would definitely recommend this lovely lake house to friends!!

Lake Vacation

The property was freshly renovated and very comfortable. Our family enjoyed the dock, lake access and fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were in good shape. One improvement would have been a garbage disposal in the sink. We loved the place!

Couldn’t have been better

We were celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday with a weekend at the lake. Check in was great and even with a small hiccup the weekend was perfect. The communication with the property manager was fast and she worked hard to fix our problems at 11pm. Highly recommended!
