Enjoy this serene summer rental on a private road. Sip ice tea on the balcony or dine al fresco with spectacular sunset views. BBQ/picnic on the large deck in back. 5 minutes to Candlewood Lake town beach/tennis, 10 min. to New Milford/shops. Explore the Litchfield Hills, relax in vintage charm, play the Steinway. This "treehouse" chalet stays cool, rarely requiring fans. Renters have private entrance to entire upper floor, balcony, deck, and woods. Owners in lower level but mostly travel.

High ceilings and tall trees keep rooms cool all summer. Airy bedrooms, open floor space with large living room, stone fireplace, dining room with sliding doors onto deck, and country kitchen. Plenty of closet space. Balcony provides outdoor dining and comfortable reclining. Large private deck facing wooded hill is great for BBQs.
