This is my first time in the Four Points Shenzhen. A great no-frills stop and very close to the HK border. As an SPG Platinum guest, I arrived from SZ airport after midnight and was upgraded to a very spacious Deluxe Suite in the west tower. I was surprised how huge this property was, and it was a large walk from the main lobby in the east tower to my room. My deluxe suite was very clean but sadly only two bottles of water and no welcome note. There was also a kitchen in this suite but no cutlery, plates, bowls or cups which I found unusual and made the kitchen useless. Breakfast in the west tower on level 23 was very quiet and a very good buffet spread, particularly Chinese breakfast items. I also enjoyed the spacious outdoor seating area. Only issue with the service I encountered was a very slow check out — so slow that I gave up waiting in the queue and left. Overall, a great stay for the price and I enjoyed the property's quietness.
Been to a few Marriott group hotels in Shenzhen. In terms of facilities and room size this one is not the best one, but in term of services I can say this hotel is the best. Staff here are extremely helpful and considerate making you feel like home. Especially concierges staff – Bruce. We had caused quite a lot of troubles during our stay, Bruce was always willing to offer help and even closely follow up our parcels problem with the delivery company after we checked out. A big thumb to him. Thank you so much.
Stayed here for business. It's a fine hotel with all the expected things available. I didn't like the location because it's not an easy walk to the city or catch the metro and taxi is very hard to get in the morning. There aren't a lot of great restaurants choices close to the hotel either. If you want to go to Hong Kong then this is a good choice because it's right next to the Futian port.
This was my first trip to China. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is standard business hotel chain - very clean and confusing table. We ate in the restaurant and food was of a good standard.
Thank you Ken and Brian for help in navigating Shenzhen. It’s really tough for an American who does not speak any Chinese to get to all my business appointments when most taxi drivers do not speak English. You were both so incredibly helpful with advice every day. Ken, I will not forget that you left with me in the middle of the night to search for a new suitcase since I had too many samples to bring back to the states. When they both said several times “this is my job and it is my pleasure to help” you I really feel that you meant it! You both are hospitality SUPER HEROES!
We stayed here for three nights, very convenient location, easy walk to the metro and they have a shuttle during the day. The property is beautiful, rooms are large and very clean. We enjoyed sitting in the bar in the evening.
Pretty standard room for four points. Room was in the West tower which is a walk. Since I'm there for just one night, in future I'll just ask for the main tower to avoid long back and forth to breakfast restaurant. Otherwise everything is ok. Would prefer my regular Sheraton Futian more for the location and the availability of more food choices there. Of course, pricing is better here than Sheraton.
I stayed here end August arriving at the hotel in the afternoon following typhoon Hato's landfall. The hotel has a good location, serves a variety of options for breakfast and provides shuttle service to and from the FTZ area on defined timings. Staff are pleasant and are easy to communicate with in the English language.
It take 10 minutes walk from Futian Checkpoint to the hotel under the violent sunshine. I'm sweating a lot when I arrived the lobby. The forntdesk receptionist was nice and gave me some tissue for wiping. She was polite, efficiency and helpful. The room a little bit small but clean and cozy. The breakfast buffet was good because of its varieties delicious food and nice staffs. The nearby subway station away from the hotel by more than 10 minutes walking. You must wait for the hourly shuttle bus or get the taxi if you wish to explore the downtown area.
Arriving from the Futian Checkpoint subway/MTR/underground etc, I exited facing west. Just beyond the white bridge-like gate sculpture I could sight the tall Four Points hotel. AFter about ten minutes stroll, I arrived. Check in was swift and instructions clear. The room was perfect featuring a bath and many other luxuries. The swimming pool on the 6th floor was mostly shaded from city life, but open enough to feel free. It closed late. At around 25-28 degrees celcius, it was warming and welcoming - just like the staff. The gym was quaint and very modern, with all the trimmings that a great gym commands. The breakfast buffet was varied and well worth the extra investment for two nights away.
