Beautiful vacation home in Harstene Pointe! Perfect vacation spot for the family or a romantic getaway. Walk the trails and beach then soak in your private hot tub! Surrounded by trees with lots of sun and space to play in the front. A two minute walk and you are at the beach steps. In the summer walk up to the seasonal outdoor heated pool, hot tub and club house. Play tennis, pickle ball or basketball! Sip coffee on your spacious deck and you often have a deer walk right past you. Updated living spaces, new Casper mattress in the master. Large living room with flat screen TV and tons of new movies, books and games. Our house also has WI-Fi, Neflix, Pandora etc on the two smart Tv's. One queen bed bedroom and bathroom on the main level. Two bedrooms upstairs one queen bed room and one bunkbed room full/twin with a trundle twin!
Lounge in the hammock under the sun, BBQ on the deck, walk down to the beach for a beach fire, it's all right there for you. Over two miles of walkable community beach, fire pits and covered gazebos with picnic tables and areas to clean your catch of the day! Don't forget the private hot tub to soak in after a long day of biking, tennis, hiking the trails or beach combing. Take the kayaks out and you often see seal and even whales off the Harstine beach! Private setting and great community amenities including a shared clubhouse, seasonal pool and spa, fitness center, trails, marina and picnic areas!
Our house has a relaxing hot tub on the front deck.
All available for our guests Kayaks, Stand up Paddle-board, kids bikes(several sizes), tennis rackets and balls and much more.
This is a peaceful community surrounded by nature and wildlife. People come to the pointe to get away from it all. We are good neighbors. Our noise rules after 9:30pm are strictly enforced. Thanks for understanding.

"We've stayed here twice now, once during the summer and once during the winter, both times fabulous!! It's gorgeously remodeled and modern with some charming rustic touches. We immediately felt at home. We had great family bonding times walking on the beach, paddle boarding and kayaking (in the summer), collecting sand dollars and roasting marshmallow in the fire pit by the beach, playing board games and just cuddling up with a book, good movie, or relaxing in the hot tub! Oh-and the kids loved seeing the deer! We even saw a mommy and two babies which was thrilling for my twins to see! We can't wait to go again! Thanks for making our get a away so wonderful!"

Harstine Island (also known simply as Harstine or Harstene) The island is located west of Case Inlet in southern Puget Sound.
Pickering Passage, to the northwest, separates the island from mainland, while Case Inlet, to the east, separates it from Key Peninsula. The island is home to Jarrell Cove State Park and Harstine Island State Park.

Fun getaway!

This was our 3rd visit to this property. It is warm and homey feeling and is in a perfect location. The large living room has plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and be comfortable. It's so peaceful there we didn't turn on the TV once during our 3 day stay. We spent a lot of time down at the beach, and walking the trails. We did get there 15 minutes early so tried to enter with our code but it wouldn't work. Check-in is 4pm sharp unless you make other arrangements. There were a few minor things that we addressed with the owner on our way out so that she was aware of them. It is a lovely place to getaway and we do plan to go back.

Perfect place for our weekend ceiebration

We have a family cabin on Harstine but it’s just a little too small for all of our family. Your place was a perfect addition! Clean, well stocked, with a huge deck, BBQ grill and kayaks and bikes to use. The house stayed blissfully cool on a warm weekend too. We'll definitely rent again!

A beautiful, quiet getaway!

House was as described, located conveniently for walking around the point to enjoy the beaches and park, plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out during the evenings, kitchen/dining room were perfect for cooking and enjoying meals together, and rooms and sleeping arrangements were great. We didn't use the hot tub but a great perk for the cooler months! The deer visited our yard often and the kids enjoyed that very much. Massage chair was a hit with Grandma! Plenty of games and entertainment for the entire family. Our host was also very responsive when we needed to contact her about a minor hot water issue and the issue was resolved. Great stay!

Quiet and relaxing weekend getaway

Enjoyed the peacefulness of the surroundings. Community was friendly and respectful. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, catching up on some favorite shows on the comfy couch and loved hanging out on the beach. On our 2nd night we were treated to a pod of orcas looking for dinner. This was our first trip to Harstine Island, hoping it won’t be our last.

Perfect getaway

This house was perfect for our family, no one wanted to leave! Kitchen is very well stocked with everything we needed and then some. There was a bottle of wine and the makings for S'mores waiting for us when we arrived, which was a very nice touch! We never got bored, with the games, books, kayaks, bikes, plus the wonderful location of Harstine Point and the pool, beaches, and clubhouse. Only complaint is we didn't stay long enough.

Exactly what we were hoping for!

Such a cute place. It was perfect for my family & I! The host communication was amazing. Check in instructions that were sent beforehand & info left at the house was super helpful. The house has all the amenities you can think of. Half of what I packed I didn’t need because the house was so well stocked unlike many other places. There was even plenty of fun for the kids & helpful touches like nightlights. Very comfy & relaxing for our family. And the community has so much to offer & filled with friendly people. The only thing I would say is I wish there were curtains to pull over the entry doors at night for a more private feel but during the day all the windows & doors there are is just beautiful! Definitely will be back.

The perfect getaway!

My family and I were seeking a peaceful vacation in a quiet location for some old fashioned family fun. We got exactly we we hoped for! The property is secluded but offers lots of amenities like quick access to a clubhouse, trails, and beach. Our family enjoyed taking bike rides around the island, swimming in the pool, roasting s’mores, kayaking, and playing board games. The house is so adorable and very tidy! There were a multitude of books, board games, fishing poles, bikes, tennis and pickleball raquets and balls, puzzles, and even a guitar to use during our stay. The tide was abnormally low one day so we got the unusual opportunity to see gooey ducks being dug up from the sand and moon snails along the shore. In addition, humpback whales came to visit, which we thoroughly enjoyed watching from the shore. We also loved soaking in the hot tub as deer strolled by. The house was stocked with staple pantry items, extra blankets and towels, and all the kitchenware you may need during a trip away. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend our vacation!

Quiet and relaxing

Really enjoyed a quiet stay here. I had a daily habit to go for a long walk, use the hot tub, and generally relax. I saw a fox, deer, and one night the raccoons decided to visit. Other than a power outage, it was a perfect visit.

Holiday Season Kick-off

Our second stay at this house was even better than the first (& the first was amazing!)!! Upon our arrival, we were thrilled to be greeted by a fully-decorated Christmas tree, twinkle lights ornamenting the mantle and other holiday themed decor throughout! Really made our stay more festive and cozy as we watched movies, played games and did puzzles. The house was super clean, smelled wonderful and - nestled in all the serenity Hartstene Pointe has to offer, this was just what we needed as a family. As always - our only regret is that we couldn't have stayed longer! :) ...Next time... Thank you again - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Verdant vacation home by the beach

This place was just what my family and I needed! A tidy and comfortable home in the forested community of Hartstene Pointe with it's many amenities. This house has a wonderful functional layout, is well maintained and is centrally located between the clubhouse/pool and the beach/spit on the northern tip of the island - the perfect location from which to launch a nice walk or bike ride. We spent a lot of time sitting on the generously sized deck talking and catching up with extended family. In addition to that, days were spent swimming at the pool, kayaking, bike riding, playing tennis, reading on the beach while the kids looked under rocks for crabs and playing board games in the evenings. In hindsight, we packed a lot of gear with us to keep the kids busy, from bikes to board games but, upon arriving, learned that if we'd travelled light, it would not have been a problem. The owners have really appointed this house with everything we could have needed to enjoy ourselves to the utmost. The owners/hosts were absolutely wonderful to work with and promptly answered any of our questions and then some - offering recommendations for different local hikes and where we could find the best local ice cream. It was clear from the outset, they pride themselves on ensuring their guests have an enjoyable stay. We will most definitely be returning to this hidden gem in the near future! Five stars!
