The house was very nice and cozy but hard to find with GPS. The parking was confusing. The stairs to the entrance was a climb. We had someone with a recent foot surgery with us and it made it hard for them to climb.them.

Cute quant little cottage close to all of the amenities of shaver lake. Very narrow parking. We had a large suburban that was difficult to park and get down the road because of snow. The snow was not cleared from the stairs or walk way and we arrived after dark. It was very dangerous and no shovel was left for us to clear it. We couldn’t use the bbq because of the snow either. There were spider webs and spiders to the response I got I will let the cleaners know. I don’t feel I should have had to pay a full cleaning fee when it wasn’t fully clean with cobwebs. Also the Match box was so worn down it was unusable. But the beds were nice. Hot water isn’t plentiful enough to take a full bath but we loved the character of the cottage and the area. Lots of kitchen stuff and linens were plentiful. Quiet and close to places to eat and rental and a short drive to the lake. So a few things that weren’t perfect and the walk way was very dangerous with my kids and elderly father in law but overall we did love our stay

Mostly good with some suggestion for improvement

Mostly a good stay and we had a nice time but a few issues that could help for a better review. The living room window needs a shade for the afternoon sun. It makes the house much warmer without one. The porch (front and back) including the BBQ have lots of spider webs and sap. So much that we couldn’t sit out there. Lastly we had an ant problem in the living room and downstairs bedroom.
