One of the best places in Sharm, right on Neama bay and the staff were very courtious and retentive, beach is sandy and lovely. The buffet were tasty with good variety, rooms are very nice and very clean. Only had some minor glitches with kettle and it was replaced immediately, minibar also not cold enough... wifi were free everywhere except in the rooms.
The best helpful friendly staff and animation team I have ever seen I arrived at 6 pm and reserved a garden view room... the room wasn't good and I didn't like it so I called the receptionist MOHAMED the best friendly and most helpful staff in sharm el sheikh and he changed the room for me for one of the best rooms in the hotel .... A special thank you to Mohamed as he deserves more than to be thanked. Also I loved the animation team and a special thank to Anna who always played with my daughter and made me feel very satisfied with my stay. Also the Food was always brilliant and delicious and special thank you for all the cheefs Thank you Romany the pool guard as he was so helpful and cheerful and I believe he should be paid more for the best service provided by him I loved this hotel and I loved everything in it even the price is not bad and you will really enjoy it 10 over 10 mariott sharm el sheikh Best regards Karim Zaghloul
The staff of Marriott are very friendly. I was reading on some websites that they are rude, etc ....Even though I was expecting delays during the check in or out. Unfortunately, it was very smooth and fast. the restaurant needs improvement and the lobby is dead after 7 pm. Comparing with other hotels, I would like to rate it as an average.
I stayed at the Marriott Sharm El Sheikh several times before and i prefer this hotel between the others in the same area knowing that my family stayed in another hotel but i insisted to stay at this hotel because i like the beach and the hotel services. My Last stay was in room # 153 between 13 and 21 April 2017 and the booking was under my name General Ali Achour. I was shocked upon check out when they charged me 400$ for extra's knowing that i was paying all my invoices in cash and when i asked for the reason of the above charges i was informed that it is related to food and beverage consumption i asked for the supporting invoices but they were not available.I paid and i left since i was in a hurry but this is not acceptable at all knowing that i am a regular guest and i usually stay with u.Hope if you can get back to me with the reason of the above charges or you can contact my office on the below number 00961 71 129 129.Thank you
I was originally booked in the mountain side , not good if you want to enjoy the view of the Red Sea , then I paid extra to stay in the beach side , Nicely located , the beach is superb. Breakfast buffet has lot of variety. Evening time you can head to Naama Bay or the old part of the city . To enjoy more, book a sea view room
This location was selected by my TA for a one night stay in Sharm. It was a Marriott, so I didn't take the time to research the location aside from its location. From "afar" it looks like a new, well-appointed hotel, but upon closer inspection, this hotel is showing its age. The hotel room was basic at best. The linens, bath towels, and complimentary beach towels were old and rough. The bathroom and room showed their age. This hotel is in need of a major renovation. Given the drop in tourism in Sharm, I can't imagine that Marriott would want to take a gamble on this investment, but if they don't, experiences and reviews like mine will become more common. With some TLC this hotel would have it all-- beautiful pool, nice beach front, and ideal location in Nabq Bay. For now, look elsewhere.
Mika was really motivational in animation team . He always makes guest happy and try to spread activity around the beach . He was like a brother to us .and he will be helpfull to any institution he goins
I am a keen scuba diver and visit Sharm two to three times a year for that. I have stayed in this hotel on five different occasions. It has surpassed my expectations and never disappointed. I always stay in the Beach Resort and take half board package. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The rooms have a balcony, some of them with excellent views of the beach. The air conditioners work flawlessly. I always use the fast internet which costs about £2.5 extra per day. It's dependable and very fast. The room service is brilliant and very responsive. One is spoilt for the choice of restaurants; Japanese, Italian and International Buffet. The international buffet is included in half board. I usually lose track of the dishes while counting them; to say they are ample and very well cooked. The food is of really high quality. The same is the case with breakfast. It's was a struggle to try most of the dishes and not get stuffed. The hotel has gym, spa and a gorgeous outdoor pool. The hotel also has its private beach with a very good beach side restaurant serving exotic drinks and food. The unique selling point of the hotel is its closeness to Nama Bay centre, where all the action is. It's around ten to fifteen minutes walk. There is too much to talk about the hotel and I can go on and on. In just a few words, it's a cracking hotel. Ok there must be something which I should pick up as a negative point. Yes there is one but it's not only in this hotel but almost everywhere in Egypt. While walking you must keep your eyes on the ground, as most floors aren't on be same level and there is a step or steps from one to another. Forget about using social media or texting while walking! For me this hotel has become my home in Sharm. I don't look for anywhere else to stay in the city.
We shared one room it is species but need to be upgraded we were in the mountain side it's quite. the staff were very helpful and quick service. The food was very good and varieties. We didn't have to eat out of the hotel. The beach is amazing just need more activities like volleyball or other sports game . I loved this hotel for sure for the next vacation i will be in Marriott .
Travelled two adults and two boys aged 2 and 8. The hotel location is on Naama Bay and has a great ocean view and sandy area etc. The hotel is old and needs a serious upgrade. I also felt that the pools need to be heated for the little chillier days. I did the mountain climb to Mount Sinai and they gave a free breakfast box which was great. Not the best hotel to be honest but staff and food was always above grade A.
