Have stayed in Ritz Carlton SH for a few times over the years, and this time I felt the service level has improved dramatically since the first day it opened. All the staff, from the front desk, to concierge, to room service, have become much more sophisticated and professional, leveling with its overseas Ritz Carlton peers. Very happy about my stay there. The highlight is the service quality. The staff in this hotel know how to serve professionally and amiably with a personal touch to the perfect degree. This is rare in China. A special thanks to the concierge desk. The gentleman there spared no effort to get me a cab on a rainly Friday afteenoon rush hour. No need to mention the hardware, with the view of the bund. Again, one can find many hotels in China that have 5-star hardware but 3-star service. Here you get all at 5-star. Hope the hotel keeps its standard and becomes a good example for the hospitality industry in the country.

As soon as I got out of the car, O received a warm welcome from the concierge. and I liked the fact that their uniform was in old Shanghai style. The hotel has a luxury lobby and an elevator directly to the 52nd floor. The price are on the high side but you actually get what you pay for. Evelyn at concierge was very helpful and showed me some places to go with great smile. The hotel is a short walk to the Shanghai tower and the Shanghai financial center where you can see the 100 floors up. This was crowded during the weekend and at this time of year the visitors are mainly families with children. This is an excellent hotel with a great location. and I highly recommend it to my friends and family visiting Shanghai.

Met good friends at Aura Bar in Ritz Carlton. Booked seat near the window, super view overlooking the whole city, maybe the highest bar I ever visited. The food setup is designed by Mikimoto, elegant with delicious food. Looks very premium. The premium experience was also from friendly staff, not only the restaurant services but also other staff we met in the hotel. Special thanks to Emma Zhou, who lead us to the location of the bar and at the same time warmly introduce the facilities in the hotel. It was working day after, definitely we will visit Flair roof bar next time.

Nothing to complain but honestly not on the same standard as other Ritz. Room is decent and spacious. Few choices for room service dining but taste is not bad. Just stayed for one night and bed is reasobably comfortable. Check-out time needs to be improved in morning especially I need to rush for flight. L

The staff are very helpful.. They will give you alternatives and they will keep in touch even you are doing the booking overseas. Kuddos to Karin, Aki, Susie, Charlotte & Webo! More power and God bless to all the staffs!

My first time in Shanghai and first time at Ritz Carlton. The hotel itself is impeccable. When I arrived to check-in at 2.30pm the room was not ready (totally understandable as the occupancy was quite high and check-out time is at 12), the Front desk agent Helen kindly suggested me other alternatives. I was very happy to meet her again upon check-out , she is always smiling and very professional. The room was the best part: huge, well decorated, amazing view. I fell in love with the bathrobes and bed sheets, very good quality, probably next time I will purchase one for myself if possible. The room service is fast and they wrote some nice words on a piece of paper. I think the quality of the tuna tartare should increase: very cool presentation but it was not the taste I expected. I was surprised do not find logo on the room slippers and paper bags. My only issue was upon arrival: my friend previously left my luggage at concierge on first floor, when I arrived I showed the luggage tag to the staff , he suddenly ignore me and started to talk with is colleague, so wired. After the check in procedure I left my luggage again and asked three times to the staff to deliver my luggage to the room once is ready; when I came back in the evening I went to the room and the luggages haven't been delivered, probably too busy that day. Overall I had a great stay experience with the staff always smiling and willing to help you anytime. I will certainly come back.

From the moment we entered the hotel, to the check in and check out process, service was impressive! Room was huge with a magnificent view. Staff Blanco was very informative, he assisted us with calling a cab due to the peak hour and advise us on places to dine at our destination. Even the Chef that we met in the lift, had a short conversation with us. All these touch points makes the hotel a great place to stay. It's all about the service that makes one feel comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we do drop by Shanghai.

This hotel is really bad. Some of the staff couldn’t speak a word English.. They don’t inform you good about the rooftop bar. You have to pay 150 RMB first for a entrance ticket and that’s not even for a table but a standing seat. The hotel looks good but the service is really bad. It’s not a 5 star hotel worthy!!

The check-in process is convinient and quick, especially with the help from Clair and Alina in the Club Lounge. These two ladies are also warmhearted that theyremind my friend and me of the weather condition. The service in Flair is also nice. Amy (or Emy?) provided us with some welcome snacks & drinks. However sadly the balcony was closed due to the bad weather. The room is satisfying and the bund view is nice. My friend and I enjoyed the stay.

We just stayed 2 nights in Ritz Carlton Pudong and really impressed with the hotel . It 's a Gem in Shanghai Our spacious room has the best view look over the Shanghai Bund & the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower . Breakfast was the best with huge selectiobs from Chineses styles to Western styles . We had Sunday Brunch on Flair rooftop , staff was very helpful to get us a nice table by the window to enjoy our lovely brunch with best view in Shanghai. On our last night we made the right decision to try Jin Xuan Chinese Restaurant. Delicious food & excellent service It was an amazing experience from the beginning to the end , staff was very helpful and genuinely care to make our stay perfect especially thank to Harry from the Concierge team. We will stay there again when we are back to Shanghai
