The place was extremely clean and room service came every day to clean and provide more towels/slippers/etc. the view was great and the beds were very comfy. Location was also great as you are walking distance to people’s square and the bund. Also very close to two metro stations to pretty much get around anywhere in the city. The staff was also incredible helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Shanghai!

The apartment was clean and tidy and in a great location with easy access to the Metro system. Beds were very comfy. All staff were very helpful and friendly especially Vivienne Wang.

This place was perfect for our family of 5-there were 2 rooms and 2 full baths with an additional bed in the living room! And we were able to reasonably walk places for food and shopping and the train station was also a short walk away. Vivien got in contact with us via WeChat (WhatsApp is an option too) and was very communicative and cleaned/refreshed our towels daily. The doormen were there to greet us as we entered and left; a convenience store was also available in the lobby too. The only hiccup was harranging for pickup from the airport as there was a miscommunication with payment & luggage sizing. We had to arrange for an additional car, and we were under the impression we were paying the hotel the transportation cost but it was actually to the drivers. Overall great place for us to stay as part of our trip!

The staff were kind and allowed us to check in early and upgraded our room for free. The bathroom had an odor but when we contacted the host, they immediately fixed it within the day as we were out. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming and made our stay incredibly easy. Overall, the experience was 10/10 with good prices and we would definitely stay again.

Simon and Vivien were amazing hosts and super helpful with any questions or requests we had. The apartment was an older style, but comfortable and great for my family of 8 when we stayed. The kitchen wasn't stocked with enough for 8 people to eat, but the few utensils and plates/bowls/mugs they had was enough for my kids to eact breakfast each day. They gave fresh water bottles each day which was great too.

Wij verbleven met z’n drieën in een zes persoons appartement. Uitzicht over de Pearl Rower. Alles is heel schoon en personeel is attend. Dagelijks schoonmaak en nieuwe handdoeken wat heel fijn is. Lokatie perfect, tussen twee verschillende metrolijnen in, welke op 10-12 min afstand is. Super goede keus, netjes, rustige omgeving en op loopafstand van People Square. Als we naar Shanghai komen is dit ons eerste keus. Dankjulliewel

入住第一天，職員待客態度親切，房間整潔度尚可接受，只是冰箱有點結霜漏水，但很快解決問題。房間隔音差，經常聽到隔壁房間大力關門聲。 由於我是連續入住7個晚上，由第2晚開始，已發覺阿姨並沒有打掃房間，亦不會補給日常用品 (例如：毛巾、瓶裝水)。我很多次需要微信職員才取得所需用品，但阿姨拿來時樣子很不悅。入住多天只更換過1次床墊枕袋，亦是按我們要求的唯一1次。第7天早上已沒有牙膏刷牙，打開洗漱用品的櫃桶好讓阿姨補給，結果晚上回來時依然空空餘也，由於點回來太夜，微信多次職員都未有回應。 如果大家打算入住1個晚上，我覺得仍可考慮此公寓，始終地點算方便，房間空間大。但如打算入住2天以上，請大家三思，能否接受沒有每天打掃及補給所需用品。

Absolutely amazing place! Located conveniently in the city centre, it has immediate proximity to the People's Square and Nanjing Road, shopping, restaurants, as well as multiple metro and bus stations and connections. The hotel has a reception desk in the lobby, doormen and security, all very professional and helpful. I felt very safe. As solo traveler, safety is very important, and I felt secure all the time at Riverhouse. Everything from checking in to checking out was very professionally and efficiently handled by the staff. The room was very large and clean. Had all necessary kitchen amenities, as well as large fridge and freezer. Bathroom was huge and well equipped, with complementary amenities. Cleaning happened every day and was fantastic. Washing machine and detergent free to use in room was very convenient. Drying rack also free to use in room. Air conditioning in room. The staff was very helpful, and you can get help both in person and over WeChat app. I even got excellent help to order items online on Chinese apps as I did not know Chinese myself. My purchase was promptly received and delivered to my room by staff without delay, so I am very thankful for that. They offer really affordable airport pickup and return, which is very convenient. Drivers were every friendly and on time. A special shout-out to staff Vivienne and Lily for being so helpful and kind all the way, and even gifting me fruit and juice. ❤️ Highly recommend and will stay again for sure!

This apartment was an absolute gem! We were pleasantly surprised with the comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and million dollar views. The location was great as well being close to the bund. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anybody looking for a spacious place with great value for money that is capable of comfortably housing many people.

The room was clean and the location was great, as it was a short ride away from Nanjing Road, the Bund, and People's Square. You can also walk (maybe 15 minutes) along the river that leads to North Bund. There's not a lot of shops near by, although there is a small convenience store right in the building. The building itself is a bit older and we were provided clean towels and water daily. There is a gym in the building but we didn't get to use it. There is a small kitchen space with mugs and an electric kettle, but no other plates/cutleries. We were able to communicate with the owner/manager via WeChat and they were very responsive. Overall good stay for the value!
