Very convenient for the free shuttle service. Room was very comfortable and was a perfect place to rest after a long flight. Some staff spoke decent English, some staff had limited English. Overall, can’t complain.

Ordered a pizza when it was not busy and it took c45 minutes Breakfast buffet is varied and impressive Rooms clean, comfortable, quiet and of good size Bus to terminals reliable, frequent and safe but needs updating

The stay would have been perfect had it not been for the concierge whom I unfortunately had to encounter in the early hours of the morning. I had a red eye flight and the first shuttle bus is at 4:15am, which wasn’t giving me enough time to maneuver through an airport I am not familiar with. I asked the first concierge on arrival if I could book a cab and he said there was no need, just come down slightly earlier and his colleague would do it. His colleague firstly refused and also then said it was too far to walk (it was 2:45am) to cut a long story short there was shouting and tears (on my behalf) he ordered the taxi eventually and was extremely rude to me. I was left flabbergasted by this whole experience. If he had just ordered the taxi without any attitude this complaint would not have been made. I am not a precious person and don’t look for arguments but this was disgraceful.

the hotel location is the only good thing at this hotel .no smoking rooms available . gotel staff does not understand english at all!! roomservice is horrible , i asked for a salad after 40 min waiting the toom service guy showed up infront of my room with scrambled eggs!!!!!! even hotel receptionists does not understand english i called them to transfer me to one of my freinds room after trying to explain my self for more than 5 times and asking me to spell my freind name for more than 2 times finally the receptionist said that she found him on the system and transfered the call the surprise was that she transfered my call to the concierge not to my freinds room!!!!

I am rather satisfied with the overall experience. It is definitely value for money. Clean, spacious, convenient to access, and walking distance to my office. My only unhappy experiences were at the gym. Every night, 2 young men from the hotel Yoga department would use the gym while still in uniform (between 8:45pm till 10pm). One would show the other how to work out. What annoyed me a lot was, that was the hour i usually did my work outs and when they came, they didn't bother to ask was i using the station. They simply behaved as if they owned the gym and started changing the handles and bars and started working out. Once I asked them why did he changed my bar on the pulley systems and his replied was "I need this bar to be here." I told them I was still using it and they asked me back instead "Oh, which muscles part are you working on?" I travel at least twice a month for business and I spend lots of time in hotel gyms. I made great friends with most of the staff and they will usually guide me too. This is the only time after so many years, that I saw any hotel staff who placed priority of their own use over any hotel guest. And these skinny boys had no basic gym ethics (if you are a usual gym user, you will know what i mean). I hope if the hotel management is reading this, go watch CCTV on 21 and 22 Jan around 9pm.

Rooms are spacious and great, the breakfast restaurant complete and the service is willing to help but we were left two days without Internet that is mediocre to say the least and the air conditioning is noisy enough to prevent good sleep. I was disappointed with this Ramada Hotel. A pitty.

Have visited the Ramada for the first time after the renovation was completed and I must say that now you can check-in there without doubt. The breakfast area is much nicer now and has lots to offer. The waiters are all very attentive. Good location is you have business to do in the FreeTradeZone

I have been to this hotel on a number of occasions. The banquet room is downstairs below the ground floor. It is nicely decorated but has a faint aroma of mold. The buffet restaurant on the 2nd floor offers a wide selection of foods. During the hairy crab season, they give each person one hairy crab. (If you don't know what hairy crab is and like crabs then I recommend you visit china in the fall when they are in season). Overall not a bad experience, but I don't like the layout of the lobby, as it is not very inviting or comfortable. The lobby does offer a small cafe off to one side, but Starbucks is down the street and offers a far better environment and quality drink.

The restaurant on 3rd floor serves local Shanghai style dishes. For a vegetarian, the selection is excellent. The highlight of Shanghai dish is about the crabs. Be sure to order dishes that have local crabs.

Ideal for a layover before my flight back to London. Quick regular transfers from the airport were efficient. Hotel was clean and staff friendly enough. Lobby bar was as expected and generally happy overall. Will stay again in the near future
