Ramada Plaza Pudong

Have visited the Ramada for the first time after the renovation was completed and I must say that now you can check-in there without doubt. The breakfast area is much nicer now and has lots to offer. The waiters are all very attentive. Good location is you have business to do in the FreeTradeZone

I have been to this hotel on a number of occasions. The banquet room is downstairs below the ground floor. It is nicely decorated but has a faint aroma of mold. The buffet restaurant on the 2nd floor offers a wide selection of foods. During the hairy crab season, they give each person one hairy crab. (If you don't know what hairy crab is and like crabs then I recommend you visit china in the fall when they are in season). Overall not a bad experience, but I don't like the layout of the lobby, as it is not very inviting or comfortable. The lobby does offer a small cafe off to one side, but Starbucks is down the street and offers a far better environment and quality drink.

The restaurant on 3rd floor serves local Shanghai style dishes. For a vegetarian, the selection is excellent. The highlight of Shanghai dish is about the crabs. Be sure to order dishes that have local crabs.

Ideal for a layover before my flight back to London. Quick regular transfers from the airport were efficient. Hotel was clean and staff friendly enough. Lobby bar was as expected and generally happy overall. Will stay again in the near future

the staff are nice, easy check in/out, and for moslem traveler who is looking for halal food, there are small beef noodle restaurant across the street and kebabs on the grilles just two block away from hotel.

My friend booked this hotel for me & a junior colleague during our recent visit to Shanghai. However, she took our consent ahead booking it finally. Being it Ramada hotel, my expectations were possibly little high because I stayed in Ramada hotels before in different countries including once in Mumbai, India. This hotel is definitely big one (in size) with all the good fittings and adequate amenities but unfortunately I missed something which is difficult for me to explain. In simple words, you may say I missed 'life' here. Waiting for lifts while getting down for breakfast was a nightmare! Considering the volume of guests, etc., I think they should consider this matter seriously. However the rooms are excellent and worth the value you pay for.

This property is approximately half way between airport and city. Suitably situated for business meetings for those that don’t want to go all the way into the city. Hotel offers everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Well situated to very good restaurants within walking distance. Rooms have showers if a bath tub is requested then the room condition is older rooms.

Hotel is in good location, with plenty of local restaurants and supermarket close by. Rooms were clean and quiet, except for the fire alarm going off at 2 pm which woke me up! (I was a bit jet lagged).

Hotel is ok but certainly it feels a little tired and in need of a boost. The room I had was very oddly shaped...kind of a Y inside, making it difficult to orient anything, and the closet was positively tiny so I could barely fit 3 shirts and it was full. There is a free shuttle at 8 am to many of the local business areas which is a real plus Breakfast was particularly bad...horrid coffee, very basic selection and nothing was more than the minimum you would expect...Starbucks nearby is a good alternative I’d stay there again but only if I can’t get a room across the road at the Marriott

Very nice hotel ,neighbourhood amazing ,lot of activities to do ,food courts around us is mouthful. Perfect stay ,rooms are big with lot of amenities . Spa and gym are advanced .buffet restaurant with lots of choices
