Beautiful garden and space in the middle of Shanghai. Good proximity to subway and shopping district. Very good Japanese restaurants
Terrific location in the heart of the old French Concession, close to the Metro, and easy access to the airport. But the property is old and the rooms are a bit dated. Amenities like the gym, business center, the breakfast room and restaurants all feel like they've seen better days. BUT biggest drawback was the WiFi (not the Great Firewall, but the hotel's WiFi...). Coverage was spotty throughout the building. Speeds were slow. And the signal was always coming in and out. Very frustrating if you are there to do business.
The hotel is located in the heart of Shanghai. Very convenient to get around. Great place for shopping. Quite room and good view. However, the hotel is bit old with outdated furniture and bathroom. Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast buffet was decent. Garden is quite large and well set.
I stayed in the hotel 2 nights in 2 weeks.Hotel has great location[good restaurants in the hotel as well as nearby, high end shopping district, walking distance to metro-station,45 min drive to Shanghai Pudong airport,50 min walk to "The Bund"].Staff is very polite and professional.Hotel is impeccably clean. Mattress are hard,I liked it but my wife did not.
