Quite good value. Although not spacious, it's good for 3 to 4 people to have the split levels but we were awaken during 2 of the 3 nights by people running or walking heavily on the stairs in the room. Small bathroom and not enough hooks / bars to hang the towels. Balcony, eating places nearby, close to Metro exit but the station (Line 7) may be a bit out of the way and requires changes which can involve long walking underground. But no change and just go all the way to Maglev trains if using Pudong Airport.
Very clean and suit for family！ it is quite area for stay！ You also can find very yummy food around hotel！ The hotel is near thr metro！ the hotel has gym room and kid playroom！ you can spent time at hotel all day
For over a couple of years by now, we stay regularly at this boutique hotel when in Shanghai and have witnessed its continued progress first hand. Everything has been consistently kept at mint conditions; staff is well trained and stable so after being there long enough, you started to know some of them. Both distinctions are unusual for a hospitality in Mainland China which speaks well of its inherent elements for excellence. Although its location is not ideal for some of our social functions in Shanghai and its facilities are of top equipped, we still believe it overall surpassing many alternatives, pound for pound. From bedding quality, room cleaning, breakfast choices, doorman assistance, to front desk service, this place is being run remarkably smoothly at a competitive rate. Like any sucessful business, credits go to those who make it happen. So it is the dedication !
The location is very far away from city center. Shanghai is a big city so this is like the outskirts. The rooms are so so. Need some refurbishment and the partitioning in the room is a little weird. Not sure if I will stay here again.
I booked this apt hotel because of its affiliation to Fraser to visit a client nearby. While the district is just an unassuming residential area. The apartment-covered hotel turns out to be one of its kind in Shanghai, with each unit maximizing its space utility as a 3 half level split plus a balcony that you can actually walk out! Highly recommended for casual or business travellers who want to hide out for a couple of days in the dazzling metropolitan. Getting around in public transport without knowing the Chinese language could be a bit of a problem, but the staff at the reception would be happy to help. The only incidence I had was the staff reassured of my late check out request on line upon my arrival did not activate my pass card to such effect, and I had to lock myself out after regular check out time to get the card re-validated at the front desk.
This hotel has high consistency because each time we stayed here, we noticed the same level of quality service - room is always clean, breakfast is of variety, and staff is helpful. Although the property is off city proper, metro and reasonably priced taxi are available close by. Nearby varieties of restaurants, coffee shops and local bars are great for weekend hangouts or evening relaxation. We feel attended to each time. Thus, we shall recommend to people looking for consistency in service, while sensitive to price.
It is quite suburb but easy to get to CBD by line 7. Easy to find. Décor is very modern but show some dated on the wall. I really like their house keeping service keep all the amenities clean and filled.
The room was wide and clean, we were three and there was plenty of room and wardrobes for all of us. The staff was kind and helpful and the subway station was 2 minutes away from the hotel. The Family Mart next door served wonderful capuccinos and buns so we enjoyed a lot. I would recommend it to everyone and of course I would go again
This is the best suited hotel for Indians in Shanghai. I had a month stay at Hotel Modena Putuo on a business trip. The Sales Manager Mr.Clark has helped me a lot in all my queries. My Hearty thanks to him. There are English Speaking Staff in the reception which is really helpful and important for foreigners especially in China. All the rooms are of loft type and has a kitchen. The kitchenette includes electric stove, utensils like pan, vessel , knifes, chopping board, cutleries and melamine plates. Has a small Fridge, microwave oven, ironing board. Best suited for Indians who wanted to have a halal self-cooked food and get rid of outside food(contains pork, beef and meat in most items). There are departmental stores nearby the hotel where we had many vegetables we had in India. Burger King, McDonald, Starbucks is all around the Hotel. Subway is 2 mins walk way. Really helpful to move around Shanghai from the Hotel. Only concern is Hospitals or clinics are not nearby the Hotel. Wifi is slow inside the room. The House keeping staffs are really friendly. Issues with Heater, Wifi disconnection, TV, are sorted out very quickly when reported. Breakfast includes has western menu like bread, nuts, lemon and apple juices, milk, curd, Egg omlette, dried fruits etc. All in all its a very good hotel and I recommended it for all my colleagues on business trip to Shanghai. I also recommend it to all Indians, preferably who are vegetarians or wanted to avoid non-halal food. Suggestion to the Hotel: (1) Please improve the wifi connectivity in the room. Wifi is really very very slow in the room. Wifi is really important for the business travellers. I had to use my mobile 4G Hotspot for most of the times when the Wifi gets disconnected. (2) The TV in the room is pretty outdated. Though a big one, there is no usb facility. Request you to deploy some latest TV with USB facility. (3) The billing process should be made easier. One of my colleague has got the refund back on the pre-authorization hold amount only after 35 days of checkout, which is a big hassle. Paying the advance amount during check-in putting on hold(without complete settlement). Then asking the guest to pay once again during checkout and refund the held advance amount separately is not a good practice. Because the refund of hold amount takes nearly 35 days whereas the refund of fully settled amount will take only a week. Hence request you to get the advance completely paid by guests at check-in itself rather than holding as a pre-authorization and refund back the advance from the settled amount. Also the invoice statement is not so clear. The invoice statement just states the daily room rent. The invoice statement does not clearly break up how much was received at advance, how much was the actual total amount and what is the refund at check out?
It's just near exit 4 of Langao metro station (line 7), just across renaissance hotel. It's apartment room which is better than hotel room. Two floors with kitchen facility. There are many restaurants nearby.
