This hotel was newly opened around year 2017. The infrastructures were modern and well-maintained. Location is good - just 10mins drive to SHA hongqiao airport and hongqiao railway station. Staffs are pretty friendly and always ready to help. Especially the staff Nick Yu, please remember this name - Nick. I’d like to say, he is really a great man, as well as the most amazing staff of Marriott hotels that I have ever meet( I am a titanium member). I do not know how to definitely describe his help, it’s just like - he could handle any of your requests in comfortable ways.
Definitely one of the best you want to stay if you will be coming to Shanghai. Facilities and service are both good. You can feel you are always being taken care of. Every associates I met are so nice. I received a very cute bear from a housekeeping today. (Ms. Feng) As a housekeeping, she is definitely not just doing housekeeping, but also caring all the guests she is taking care of. I am sure I will be back soon.
We were in Shanghai on business and spent 7 nights at this fabulous hotel. I am so thankful that we had a beautiful, clean room with modern touches to return to at the end of our work day. To say the room was comfortable is an understatement. The King bed was heavenly, the bathroom with adjoining walk-in closet was unbelievable and the toiletries (Malin+Goetz) were a fine complement. The amenities were first-rate, (we used the gym and pool) and the location was convenient, with many sights within walking distance. (Qibao Old town, Shopping malls, Restaurants and subway). If I have to highlight the best part of our stay, it was the warm and welcoming staff. They went above and beyond to help us with, sending out packages, providing directions, and even setting up areas within the hotel to have brief client meetings. Thank you to the General manager Janet Si, Judy Chen, and the many other staff we had the pleasure to meet, Vladlena, Jasmine, Jack and Anne to name only a few. Your efforts did not go unnoticed and we will definitely be back!
This was my first stay at the Le Meridien Minhang. It's been outstanding: great room (spotlessly clean); courteous and flawless service. I am certainly coming back! Kudos for the Customer Experience staff.
Welcome card by General Manager Ms.Janet Si and rich welcome amenities set up in room. I always see Resident Manager Mr.Oliver move everywhere and anywhere in the hotel to check everything goes well . Ralph,Leo,Jasmine,Jack from Front office team are friendly and helpful，they create personal connection, respond to cues, make it brilliant! It was an amazing stay.
I've been traveling to Shanghai for work for 12 years now, and would visit half a dozen times a year. The suppliers that I visit though, are normally located in the Suzhou area. I would normally stay at the Twelve at Hengshan hotel, the St. Regis Jing'an, or Le Royal Meridien, but as nice as those hotels are, the problem is that they are deep within the city itself. That means it takes at least 45 min to 1 hour just to get out of the city before you actually hit the highway. So, I wanted to try Le Meridien Shanghai, Minhang just to see whether it's a better option. For me, IT IS. It's located just south of the Shanghai Hongqiao airport and that is also about the area where traffic starts to clear up on the highway. Instead of taking 2 hours to my supplier, it only took me 1. Location? Check! The hotel itself is very good. Fairly new, clean, with the usual amenities. I didn't get a chance to eat at the buffet breakfast, but I did check out the lounge for Elite members. It was probably a 4/5, with the usual assortment of drinks/liquor and food. Room is good, although my view out the window seemed to be towards another wing of the hotel. Also, the shower is a bit odd as it looks like a big enclosed chamber. If I'm getting nit-picky, finding the perfect temperature in the shower was near impossible as the handle wouldn't move smoothly. Other reviews have noted that the hotel is right next door to a mall - I did check this out, but most of the restaurants were non-Western so it may be difficult for visitors to communicate. There is a small grocery store too if you needed to buy anything. I was able to get a limited selection of restaurants show up on Sherpa so that was good. Overall, a solid hotel for business travelers - I will be staying again, given the location. If you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Shanghai though, stay somewhere else. If you want the convenience of being close to the Hongqiao airport and the ability to get out of the city quickly, stay here.
A few minutes walk from Quibao which is a typical and beautiful area. Excellent breakfast, almost too much choice. Great rooms. Located between two metro stations which is very practical. Close to shopping and restaurants
Lovely luxurious hotel! No issues, not our first stay and we’ll stay here again. Comfortable beds, nice amenities, modern style, clean marble bathroom. Judy, Affie at reception all very helpful! Highly recommended.
Great hotel, enjoying the upgraded room and room service because of efficiency of delivery. Appreciate the breakfast choices, and enjoyed the convenience of shopping close by the hotel. I appreciated the my three nights stay in Shanghai area! Would recommend.
This hotel is fabulous. Great location. Near honqiao airport in Shanghai. Staff are super friendly and await and request. Both Ivan and Judy at front desk and trainee Mia at the lobby bar where super professional. Room are large and modern. The beds are my favourite as they are just right.
