The house was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We came there to go on the rail explorer, which was located only 8 min away so that was very convenient. The hot tub was a nice addition. The house had pretty much everything we needed and it was a lovely weekend getaway.

We had a great stay! We were in the area for a wedding and needed a home base. The house was conveniently located and had enough room for 3 adults and a baby. Check in was easy, the WiFi worked, everything was clean, and check out was simple.

Great stay!

Clean with a nice hot tub and fire pit. Quiet area very relaxing with a nice out door area. Comfortable bed. Plenty of kitchenware to cook with.

We had a great while visiting our son at Sleepaway camp. It was the perfect location, close to his camp and also very close to all the towns we love to stop in. The house was clean, had comfortable beds and was the perfect spot for a quick getaway. The owners were also very responsive. I would definitely recommend this house.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My group of 3 had an amazing time here. Not only was it very homey, but it had all the amenities we needed. Hot tub, washer/dryer, comfortable beds, spacious kitchen… and the hosts? Answered all of my questions in a timely manner, & with great suggestions and information about the area. 1 weekend was not enough, you’ll want to stay forever.

Beautiful and peaceful

We came up for a restful weekend and that’s exactly what we got. The house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The beds are insanely comfortable! It is in the perfect location to Woodstock, Phoenicia and some wonderful attractions. Our kids had the best time playing outside on the spacious property. The fire pit outside is a really nice too. We truly had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again!

Cozy and clean

We had a nice stay at the cabin! There were some property items we needed to communicate about with the hosts, but they were quick to respond. Loved the hot tub and the spacious kitchen to dine in. Great spot if you’re looking to venture out and hike, ski, and explore for food/drink!

Idyllic house—we loved everything about it!

This beautiful house was the perfect space for my family’s last little getaway of the summer. It’s beautifully furnished, so clean and lovely—our favorite of any places we’ve rented over the years. Our hosts were welcoming, responsive, and provided information to help us make the most of our time at this wonderful place. We enjoyed grilling, using the hot tub, and relaxing on the porch. During our stay, we hiked two different nearby trails, and there are so many more to explore. All three of us (parents and our 9 year old) had a lot fun on the Rail Explorers excursion, right down the road. We already are dreaming of a return stay!

Lovely rural hideaway

We had a great time exploring the local area, charming small towns and glorious natural environment. The house is tucked away off the main road, super easy to locate, but feels secluded. Andrew is a great host, responsive and easy to communicate with. It was obvious he is really concerned about making sure his guests are comfortable and happy.

Girls Getaway seeking peace!

My two besties and I made the trek to the Catskills to spend a few days the Menla’s Dewa Spa. We aren’t the type to stay at the retreat center so we found this cute house. We loved every part from the modern upgrades, the backyard fire pit, the location and most of all the front porch where we spent countless hours laughing and enjoying life! The perfect getaway. Highly recommend.

Great quick getaway

Stayed at this property with my husband and two children (7 and 3). The house was exactly as pictured. It was charming but had all the amenities we needed. Andrew provided us with all of the check in information ahead of time and was extremely responsive to any of my questions. He even checked in on us our second day to make sure we had everything we needed. We were close to family friendly trails and the town of Phoenicia. We had a short but great stay!
