The hotel isn't bad but can improve by changing a few things. Positives: -Location: The hotel is very well located: it's in the heart of the city, near restaurants, cafés and grocery stores. -The rooms are big and modern, and the bathroom is beautifully designed. -Breakfast: Large selection of food items, and a healthy corner. -Amenities: free wifi, room service, hospitality tray... -Facilities: Swimming pool, 2 restaurants, a bar, and even a nightclub. Negatives: -Power outage: the power went out at 2am, and when we checked out the next day at noon, it was still out. Needless to say that it was horrible: no AC (on a hot July day), no minibar, no lights, and no warm food at the buffet. -Staff: They seemed indifferent, and not helpful at all. They told us that the power will be back at 9 am, and by noon nothing happened. No one apologised, or even listened to us seriously, they kept saying it's not their fault without even trying to provide a solution. At the restaurant, the waiter never came to clear our table, he was too busy using his phone. -Security: There's a metal detector and an X-ray machine. It's understandable and reassuring to know that we're safe. But the security team is very condescending and not friendly at all. They were treating us like criminals and not hotel guests.
Positive points : -nice architecture - nice clean room - very confortable bed - near to city center -Price is good Negative points: -no cars parking, you just put your car on the front road -on the breakfast, they didn't cleaned the tables after guests left, so you must look search to find clean one, you can see pictures here attached
The hotel is good and just opposite the medina, although far from the sea area.Staff is good, food is decent and the breakfast is the usual international - not too elaborate. Clean rooms with a balcony.
Been here several times, longest stay for 5 weeks. Friendly Staff and rooms are good. The gym is under construction for a very long time. April 2016 was my first time and novembre they were still not finished. Hotel nearby the medina.
Generally the hotel is fine . The only unacceptable is the breakfast and the food inside the hotel. Below average. Poor buffet and all the foods without taste . Rooms are good and clean. Wifi very good. The same experience I had at the same hotel , Golden Tulip in Tunis.
this hotel look nice the rooms is really good and clean, but the toilet is separate from the shower and sink !!! why ?? breakfast is fine but the lunch or dinner is not tasty hotel employees wifi is fast if u manage to contact your phone !!
Fine hotel with all the necessities. Poor breakfast compared to price and other hotels in the country. Anyway, sfax is not a touristic region and you do not have much choice of hotels. Slow or no internet in the rooms.
Lovely centrally located hotel. Seems like the hotel has been recently refurbished. The room was clean and couldn't find a fault. if I had to really push I would have liked a bigger television but the room was perfect. The breakfast was nice with a decent selection. There is no private car park but the security staff reserve all the spaces outside the front and mind your car. Excellent experience overall.
Very good standard for Sfax and business travelers would be happy to stay here. Good wifi, desk in standard room to work, bathrooms are clean. The staff may need a little more training but in general they were fine. Near train station and taxi hub. Breakfast was good and they have a good restaurant for dinner (good sea food) Would stay there again
The rooms are quite spacious with all seeming to incorporate a balcony, it is in a nice central location in Sfax and the staff are great. We really liked the breakfast which offered slightly less variety that what you would get in a five star hotel, but everything was well made with special care taken to give it a local theme with many Tunisian varieties. There are two bad thing about the hotel, the first was the high price they charge per room but this seems to be the norm for higher end hotels in Tunisia. The other being its wifi service which is similar to many hotels offering free wifi was not working properly.
