This is a good Novotel, giving the high standards of comfort and cleanliness that I expect from Novotel. I had a two night stay and I slept well. The hotel is located on the edge of central Seville, next to the football stadium, with good bus and metro links into central Seville in about 15 minutes. The breakfast was also good. I was however very disappointed with the very inefficient staffing levels. Everytime I needed to interact with a member of staff, I had to wait an unacceptable amount of time. When I arrived to check in, there was one member of staff on the reception desk, and she was giving tourist advice to another customer. After I waited for five minutes, the receptionist left the desk to go over to the Internet PC with her customer to carry on giving out tourist advice. I was stood for over 10 minutes before the receptionist had even acknowledged that I was there. After 10+ minutes of waiting, the recpetionist finally acknowledged me and left her customer on the Internet PC and came to check me in. At no point prior did the recpetionist acknowledge me, or call through to a colleague to come and look after me. If the receptionist had simply said 'good evening sir, I will be with you as soon as I can' that would have made so much difference. As an Accor Platinum card holder, I was given all the Platinum perks that I expected (thank you!). I went to the bar to claim my complimentary welcome drink and there was nobody there to serve me. I waited for 5 minutes, and still nobody came to serve me. I went to recpetion to ask for help, but I saw the same lady who checked me in the previous night giving out more tourist advice. She was taking some time, so I decided to go back to the bar. There was now a member of staff behind the bar, but I had to wait until he finished counting up the money in the cash register before he served me. So overall about 15 minutes wait to get my Platinum welcome drink. The server then did everything he could to deny me my choice of welcome drink, despite the drink I requested being fully compliant with the T's and C's on the drink voucher. Next day I deposited some laundry at recpetion, and I had to wait a while whilst the understaffed reception dealt with the customers ahead of me. At least when I checked out, I was served in good time. No reason to not stay here, just be prepared to wait for everything.

I've been here for a business trip for 1 week. Checking out the website upfront made me being excited about the pool on the roof. I also was looking forward to using the gym. So here's my experience: - pool: closed til end of April although we had more than 30° - gym: treadmill as shown on the website's fotos does not exist anymore. The rest of the gym equipment is in very poor shape and hardly working - cleanliness: was ok, although the carpet and curtains had some big stains. Bedclothes were clean. - breakfast: good and rich. Had no lunch or dinner. - staff: very friendly and helpful. I needed help for a reservation in a downtown restaurant and the receptionist worked his Spanish magic to get a nice table at the window side - location of the hotel: ok, but expect a 20min walk to the city center

The hotel is centrally located in Seville next to a Shopping Mall and the soccer stadium. The old town is just a short metro ride away (3stops) or a 20min. walk. Rooms are spacious and clean, but a little bit old fashioned. Same counts for the bathroom. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff is friendly and gave us a lot of information about the processions during Semana Santa and advice on how to reach the attractions in the old town.

Nice hotel, excellent breakfast, great location for us. The hotel is near Santa Justa train station. We actually walk to/from hotel and train station. Its an easy 20 min walk. The Nevion metro train station is about a 5 min walk. Nevion is 3 stops away from Puerta Jerez which is where the main Seville Cathedral is location.

Let's get the good parts out of the way first. Yes, I chose this hotel as it was a bit cheaper than other hotels closer to the old town in Seville. Yes, it has the Metro on the next corner as is 3 stops from the old town. And Yes it's next to the Nervion shopping centre. But that's where the positives stop. Firstly you smell the rooms before you get there. Housekeeping use an awfully strong cleaner that takes your breath away. Luckily the room window opens slightly (about 8cm) and after an hour with the aircon fan turned up you can dilute the smell. But that's when a lingering scent of cigarettes or mustiness takes over. Moving on to the style of the room. It was probably last refurbished in the 90's complete with a tiny first generation flat screen TV with only a handful of channels working. The carpet was stained and the bathroom also had seen better days, again is a throwback to the 80's or 90's. The curtains were ripped and in need of a wash. When I raised this with the reception it was met with a shrug and was told they are starting to update the rooms and I might be lucky to get a better room next time. Lucky for me I won't be going back to try my luck.

The hotel is centrally located in Seville next to Nervion Plaza and the soccer stadium. It is well connected with the Nervion Metro station across the Intersection and the Santa Justa train station just a short 10 minute walk. The old town with its historic attractions is a bit farther just a short metro ride away. Rooms are spacious and feature a couch in addition to the bed. The restaurant and bar serves an excellent breakfast buffet and is also open for lunch and dinner. They offered me a deal on breakfast at check-in which was better than the online price. The area around the hotel has a lot of restaurants and shopping options. Staff is friendly and gave me great advice on how to reach the attractions in the old town. Claudia was especially helpful. Great place to stay in Seville. Will definitely be staying here next time I am in Seville.

Nice friendly hotel with easy access to the old town. The metro station is just outside the hotel and can get you into the historic town within minutes. Onsite parking is extremely convenient. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a range of options.

Good and tidy hotel in Sevilla. Easy to navigate with car. Parking facilities are enough big, so free parking place was easy to locate. Excellent breakfast even better than other Novotel hotels visited.

Hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean and the linen was clean but the carpets should/must be replaced. They have seen much better days. Internet service wasn't reliable. Restaurants are close by. Price of the room not worth it. Don't recommend.

This hotel is situated about a 30 minute walk from the historic centre of Seville. It has good bus services to most parts of the city and the airport (20 minutes). Metro Line 1 is also close. There are plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity either for Tapas or a full meal. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Breakfast on the first day (Sunday) was excellent but not quite as good on the following day (Monday) with many options not available as they were out of stock. One wonders how a breakfast restaurant close to a large supermarket can ever be out of bacon or chicken..... but this is a minor quibble for what was otherwise a most pleasant stay.
