Hotel is in very quiet area.On the side is Mercadona market. Hotel is half an hour walk from the downtown ( 7 euro taxi in the night). Rooms are big, breakfast very good.Beds are very big. What do you need more ? :-)
In my room (which was on the fifth floor) there was no WiFi. So we asked the reception if they can increase the signals in our room and they said that someone will come and fix the Internet for you. We waited for more than 1 hour and the person still was not here and we were constantly calling the reception. At the end we asked them if we could change rooms and get a room with better WiFi!! At the end we did not change rooms and had to stay with the bad Internet. Although the positive parts for this hotel was that the rooms were clean and the breakfast was really good as well. The receptionist that was sitting when we were in the hotel (sorry don't remember the name) she was really kind and very helpful. She printed our document and in the beginning when we were trying to change rooms, she was very helpful and did whatever she could to serve us well. At the end I would say Hotel Exeter Seville is great and I would recommend it to anyone who is going to Seville.
booked this hotel as it was cheap for Seville and away from what I thought would be a noisy centre. It was quite a way south of the city centre (40 minutes walk) but it wasn't quiet as hoped. The long corridors with pinned open fire doors meant people coming back to their rooms late could be heard and even woke us up ! The entrance to the hotel is tired and lacking a hotel feel. The breakfast was very poor and only one guy managing to keep the drinks and food stocked. The two coffee machines weren't working on one morning so we had to do without. The quality of the breakfast was very poor. concentrated orange juice lack of cereal choice, just 2 ! lots of cured meats and poor eggs. no veggie option at all. Lots of bread ! some fresh fruit and yoghurts. The room was spacious particularly the bathroom but it needed updating, cleaning thoroughly including mould off shower grout. The toilet seat had two pads missing from underneath the seat. The pillows were the cheapest type of microfiber with lumps in them. Traffic outside had horn bibbing from 7am ish. It is situated next to a small supermarket so handy for that.
The rooms are quite big, and the maintenance was good. Located a bit away from city it takes 10 min walk plus 20 min bus to reach city center. Coming to the breakfast, I guess this is the worst breakfast I'd ever eaten, be it the taste and quality as well. I found hair in scrambled eggs, they served stale watermelon, everything was cold even the scrambled eggs. Surprisingly only white bread and the cheapest quality of bread one can buy in supermarket frozen section. Oh ya traveling to South of Spain I expected like in my precious other hotels that they would serve fresh orange juice and here they gave us bottled one and I bet the cheapest quality. We stayed 3 nights and skipped the last day for breakfast and had just cup of tea. I would recommend any one going there to skip the breakfast at any cost, I don't get a penny writing this negative stuff but I hope the management should understand the importance of customers satisfaction at all times..
So we went on a trip around Andalusia and were looking for a hotel that was easy to reach by car and still close enough to the city to use the public transport system. We ended up staying at the Exe Sevilla Palmera, with a bus stop just 3 streets away, that brought us right to the city. Our room was very spacious with an extra living area. It was located in the corner, so with windows on two sides that provided a nice view over the city, especially at night. The breakfast was good, the selection could be a bit bigger. But based on the price of the hotel as well, the value delivered was excellent.
In the middle of nowhere just in front of the stadium. Big rooms. Wifi worked well. Beds not very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast not super good quality. An average hotel, nothing super special.
We've stayed in this hotel many times over the years. This time it seemed less cared for i.e. dirty windows and no AC in hallways or lift. Stayed on the top floor (very hot in summer due to rooftop heating up) and the room was clean as usual but this time round the bed was broken (they sent maintenance to fix it), the curtains were loose and the shower holder wasn't working. Walls are paperthin and if you have noise neighbours you hear everything.
As a hotel room goes, this has it all. Incredibly comfortable, big bathroom and quiet. The adjoining restaurant is unpretentious and affordable, although the food isn't exactly 4* standard but it did a job. Had some great sleeps here. Alas that's where the good part ends. If you want a comfortable room in the middle of nowhere, this is perfect. We knew it was not in the centre and it was advertised as ten minutes. That's not walking - that's a ten minute cab ride. At €24 a round trip, this is money which could be spent towards a more central hotel. And the wifi in the room is worse than pathetic. It took 10 minutes to load one page and this was at 60% signal. Location was a big issue but we knew it was out of the centre, but overall a good nights sleep here and reception staff were superb.
I loved the room with big glass wall, sun rising directly to the room, big bathroom, very clean and confortable hotel. Breakfast was good, dinner also, on choice of 3-4 types. Free parking when reserved form their site, supermarket below hotel. It's walking distance to the center, even it appears more on the map.
This hotels strength is its staff, very happy and very friendly. 10 stars for the staff. This hotel is clean and you get free toiletries and there is a hairdryer and rooms safe and TV. One news channel in English and the rest in Spanish or German. Daily room service. No tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms fridge. Breakfast is very good choice with bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes all included with the usual cold selection as a buffet. Location is about a 10 minute walk to Parque Maria Luisa and bus stop 5 minute walk away to get into town fastest way at 1.40€ a journey that takes you right into historic centre, get directions from reception. Bus no.37. Where you get off the bus in the centre is exactly where the bus starts it's journey back, and the front will say Bellevista. We prefer booked half board and the buffet evening meal was fairly good and some evenings the buffet restaurant was close so you had to eat in a shared cafe! A bit one star. On the whole this hotel is clean and well staffed however the evening eating arrangements are well below 4 star. I think this hotel is a budget modern 3 star and should be regraded as soon as possible. If I could be bothered I would email the chief executive to come to dinner here with me to discuss why his customers have to eat in a shared cafe on some occasions. This is not meeting customers expectations of a 4 star hotel and restaurant. Either get rid of the restaurant or don't offer evening meals. Whatever response is made will never make up for a very very disappointing evening meal on the two occasions that we had to eat in a grotty shared cafe with hospital staff and noisy public customers that were not with the hotel. Your staff get all the marks.
