As far as one star hotels this was pretty good. Each room had its own bath and shower. Rooms where modern and clean. Free wifi. The location is fantastic as well. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Price point was fair. There is a small terrace up top which was pretty small but have us a view.
Located across from the cathedral, this hotel is ideal for watching the Semana Santa processions from the small balconies that come with the rooms. Try to get a room on one of the lower floors, then you will see even more. Otherwise the rooms overlooking the cathedral are quite noisy. Staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a roof terrace with a great view of the cathedral. There are no services, but the rooms are clean, and there is airconditioning. There is free wifi, but it is rather slow.
I am frequent visitor in Sevilla, and this time I was looking for a cheap place to stay with great location. Da Vinci gives you exactly this, nothing else. Although small, the room was nice with everything you need: tv, hot shower, wifi, and it was clean and neat. You also have your own air conditioner, which can be useful in a city of extreme heat in the summer or coldness in the winter. The location is unbeatable: right in front of the Cathedral, and within a few minutes walking distance from all the attractions in the historic center of the city. A lot of options to eat nearby. But this hotel does not even has a lobby, so dont expect any amenities besides the terrace that overlooks the Cathedral. But hey, you are in Sevilla, you only need a clean bed and let the city take care of the rest.
This is one of the worst hotels I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. The only positive thing is location, which is unbeatable. All other things are terrible. The name is "Da Vinci Boutique", yet there is absolutely nothing "boutique" about this place. Taken right out of the 1970s, it is a dingy, dirty hostel. The room was so poky with no light at all, the wifi doesn't work and the bathroom was disgusting. Long hairs in the shower, and also on the towels, the previous guest's half used sachets of gel in the shower, a vile toilet brush holder with stains all over, plastic cups. Simply disgusting. Do not stay here. I left after one night (no refund, and also you have to pay all up front before seeing the room, hmmmm!) and went to a far better hotel in this lovely city.
This hotel is wonderful I did not stay here but I saw the rooms which has a wow factor. Also very central for the cathedral and all the other attrachments. There is a\ road near which all the restaurants have tapas.
We booked this hotel on Booking.com. We arrived to be told they had no booking for us. We showed them our booking.com confirmation on the laptop--still nothing was getting through to them--even though I was speaking in Spanish. While this was happening another guest who had been booked in and given his key, was informed that he could not enter his room until the previous guest had removed their luggage. All this despite the fact the hotel had luggage storage service available. The receptionist was incredibly rude and appeared to have no training in Hospitality services at all. The best they could do was to offer us a room at a higher price than the one we booked and at a higher price than advertised on their website. We got the impression we were being defrauded and we elected to leave immediately--no apologies were offered by the staff. Shocking experience in an otherwise enjoyable stay in Sevilla.
Hard to find a better location. 2 mins from the Alcazar, cathedral and tram station. We really enjoyed watching the sun go down on the cathedral from the roof terrace. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of food options nearby. Clean rooms with everything you need. Note: front rooms have great views but the street is loud til late. Best room: number 61...opens onto the roof terrace.
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Great city centre location, comfortable bed, clean, small room, very helpful reception staff. All you need for a weekend break after all you don't visit Seville to spend all your time in a hotel run. What a great city!
Hostel is like a little hotel actually. At first, when you see little reception, you won't think the same, but it is. Room was very nice, clean. We stayed for two nights, every day lady was cleaning the room, making our bed, changing our towels. I really didn't expect this in a hostel. Location is absolutely wonderful. It looks on the cathedral. Everything is close to hostel. Maybe this was our best choice for hostel while staying in Andalusia
We got what we paid for. Location is excellent. The Cathedral of Seville and Alcazar was right there in front of you. and everything else is a tramp ride away or walk. The room was very reduced space very narrow. I bumped into everything and to open the door you have to pull the door and back up so you can go through. The lifts rattles the tramp starts at 5 am I thought and the people are singing the trucks making alsorts of noise until 3 am I don't know cause I fell asleep. So soap or dish in the shower stall. We stayed 2 nights that was enough. I think for young people its ok. Staff was nice. W
