-Please note that this cabin is a natural secluded forest area where there are bugs, insects, critters, bears and other animals. Unfortunately with a cabin in the woods these factors will be in play.
We do have a pest control company that routinely treats the property. We ask that you please be mindful and clean up any food outside that attracts these animals. Please remember to close all windows and doors to prevent the bugs and critters from coming in. We also recommend bringing bug spray and wearing a light jacket at night if outside.

The description of drive leading to property was not as well maintained as stated, we got stuck in a hole and had to have help getting out. Description also stated 4 wheel drive was not necessary unless there was snow, which there was not. We could not at property!

We enjoyed our stay here! The reviews had us a bit concerned about the driveway but it was fine. If you live anywhere rural, you will feel like you are driving up your driveway at home. It had a great view, friendly host, and looks exactly as pictured. Hot tub needed a bit of cleaning but we still enjoyed soaking in it. Ping pong table and foosball was especially fun.

The cabin was fine. Close to Dollywood and all other attractions! Easy and quick communication with the host. The biggest thing I feel like others should know is the drive up to the cabin. It’s dirt and rocks, steep, and pretty rough with washed out places and fairly deep divits. We were able to drive our van up but it wasn’t pleasant. I would have definitely hated to drive it up if there had been rain or if we had met another vehicle on the way up or down as there was no room for two cars. And there are at least two other homes sharing the drive. Most definitely needs an extra layer of rocks or paving unless driven with a 4 wheel drive as someone else suggested. Also, because of the drought in Tennessee, we were asked to be courteous of our shower times as we could run out of water. We did just fine but it would have been a pain to find another place to stay if that had been the case.

We are in our 60’s and married 4 months ago. We found this gem to stay and it was everything they said it would be. It made a “special place” for our honeymoon! We definitely will be going back many more times. The driveway was a little rough, but as we were leaving there was a tractor smoothing it out. We drove our Honda CRV and it made it fine. The Host is great with a fast response, The whole place was very clean, we enjoyed the Hot tub and sitting on the deck enjoying the Mountain Air. I would definitely give this a A rating.

Great location, neatly kept cabin. This was such a treat to stay with my family. We really loved the view in particular and it was a great base to explore Smokey Mountain National Park from. Highly recommend- but take the host’s warnings about water seriously - we ran out the night before we checked out!

We loved the property and the local bear. Everything was great. We would stay again. I love the privacy. The only issue we had was no grill available so cooking was a bit hard for grilled meat but we made due. The host was very attentive when I reached out My kids loved the games. Thanks for a great stay!!
Great little place, dirt road to get there was a bit scary, but once I did it a couple time I felt more confident.

Pleasant stay in Pigeon Forge
My friend, brother and I had a wonderful stay at Gisele's place. The location is close to the main artery (Route 321) for various attractions in Pigeon Forge. It's about 15 minutes to Gatlinburg. It is easy to get to the National Park through the Gatlinburg bypass to get 'feel' the beauty of the Smokies even before you get there.Getting to the lodging takes you about 0.3 of a mile up a rough gravel mountain road. Gisele is very upfront about the road, but it is worth the effort. From the elevate porch (with hot tub), there is a table and have a patio meal or nestle into the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the beautiful view of the Smokies (including Mount LeConte) to the south. (The hot tub was good temp, but the jets were a bit tame.) Inside there is a table for dinners or jigsaw puzzles, etc. The kitchen is adequately stocked with nice pans and a drawer full of essential utensils. There is a limited supply of plates and glasses, etc. so you might have to hand wash some items between dishwasher uses to keep up with the meals. The refrigerator is on the smaller side, but adequate for stocking up your supplies from the Food City grocery nearby in Pigeon Forge. (Ask the cashier to scan their coupon code at checkout to get the same deals as the locals.)The master bedroom is generously sized, and the second bedroom has two beds in a slightly tighter space. There is a ping pong table outside in the converted car port area.Gisele is available to make your stay a pleasant one.

Bad Problem Solving
This was a perfect cabin/house right near Dollywood and pigeon Forge. My only complaint is when we showed up and the place didn’t have hot water. Problems happen everyday which is completely understandable but I don’t think the situation was handled great. We stayed for two nights and I was told someone would be out the next morning to try and fix it. I had to reach out for updates all day the next day and the problem was not looked into until afternoon/night. Something was wrong with the hot water heater and they were unable to fix it during our stay. The refund that was provided did not match the inconvenience we experienced. I was very disappointed and was miserable taking ice cold shower two nights in a row. I felt like they should have gotten someone out there sooner to try and fix it. Everyone handles problems differently but this is just how I feel.

As expected but a surprise too
This home is at the top of a mountain. The drive from the main road was not labeled, thankfully our GPS helped us to find it. And thanks to other reviews, we realized we were on the right drive. The driveway can get very steep, and it is gravel. Some spots are loose with a lot of pits. I realize now why the description said to have a 4x4 truck. Our parents have a front wheel drive car, which made it. I believe there is 3 homes on this driveway. It was a nail biter when another car was coming from the opposite direction. The driveway does get narrow. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see that the photos were exactly what we saw when we walked inside. It is a beautifully, and clearly newly renovated. To our surprise the refrigerator was NOT what is in the photos. It is MUCH smaller. Be prepared for that. We intended to cook all of our meals, for 6 of us for 5 days. We had coolers and had to store some of the food in them. But the kitchen had a good selection of pots and pans and cooking tools to use. There is a closet in the hall, we stored our dry goods in that. It is small with just shelves. Jackets and shoes had to be kept in the bedrooms. We truly enjoyed our selves. We didn't see any bears. :)

Nice little cabin
We really enjoyed our stay here! The view was better than we expected and we even saw a bear from the balcony one morning. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Be prepared for the driveway. It’s a fairly steep gravel driveway that winds it’s way up to the cabin so if it’s pouring down rain or there’s ice and snow you may have a hard time. Worth it few the view though. Would definitely stay again.

The location was perfect for exploring Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. The view of the Smokies was incredible from this mountain cabin! The gravel road up to the cabin is steep, but all cars can make it.
