My family and I had been doing disaster relief for a week, so I wanted to give them a time of relaxation. The Royal Pool Retreat was available, so I booked it. The main reason I did was so they could just relax at the cabin, and enjoy a time of renewal. They love to swim, so the house having a swimming pool was the reason I booked it. To say the pool was cold is an understatement. It was so cold they could not swim. So, we will make the best of it and play ping pong. No, there were no ping pong balls. Other things in the house did not work, and the reasoning I received in a letter left from maintenance was "It is a new build, and I cannot repair it." So, I literally cried when I told my family I apologized for wasting their time. When I contacted the booking agent, they said they would contact management to see what could be done. Yet, nothing was done. I even contacted them before making this review with no response other than they would contact someone. I still get an emptiness in my gut and tears in my eyes thinking about time and money wasted. High price to learn a lesson.
