Come experience your stay at Mountain Side Retreat, A secluded cozy cabin perfect for 4. When you walk in cabin we have a full stocked kitchen, a dining table, and a small deck with a table,seating arrangements and a grill. Then you’ll walk into the very spacious living room that that has a huge tv and fireplace and large windows that let in great suinlight throughout the day. When you walk down stairs you’ll walk into the game room which has a pool table and a full bathroom. Both the bedrooms are located downstairs also, both equipped with smart tv’s and a king size bed. The Master bedroom includes a full bathroom. Both bedroom doors lead out to the lower deck which has the perfect seating arrangement for 4, an outdoor fireplace, and an outdoor tv. So come book your stay at Mountainside Retreat when you come to the Smokeys.

We enjoyed our trip for the most part aside the handful of issues, the outlet in the downstairs bathroom didn’t work, the shower curtain was not secured and was moving and slid off the wood boards it was sitting on while showering, the tub drain did not stay down to hold water ( we have kids that needed to take baths), the master bath shower curtain rod did not stay extended to hold itself up, the bedsheets didn’t smell clean when we arrived, (departure instructions were to leave bed unmade as if it would just be remade before next guest) the toilet seat upstairs is loose and the master bath mirror is so high, i was only able to see the top of my head and I’m an average 5’5” woman. Hot tub was 70 degrees upon arrival. Many minor issues that could easily be fixed with little effort. Otherwise it was decent, but very basic cabin.

This is a very nice cabin. It is a bit off the beaten path from the major attractions, but that is a plus. The only downside, the walls are paper thin. We could hold a conversation with our daughter in the room next door without raising our voices, there is zero privacy between the rooms. One of the other cabins had some young men (across the street) and we could hear them clearly while trying to sleep. We enjoyed the cabin and it worked perfectly for us, just need to call it the way we see it. Also, your ability to back up your car needs to be a comfortable skill, as you will have to back out of the driveway onto a one lane road (blindly). So go slow and hopefully you have a back up camera.

The cabin was beautiful and extremely clean. It accommodated us all perfectly and the beds were very comfortable. There is a sofa bed in the living room which was perfect for our kids. There’s also curtains on all of the neighbor facing windows not shown in the pics which was great. Some other things to mention-there was no outdoor fire table or pool table as pictured/mentioned in the listing. There is a shuffleboard table instead. The outdoor TV also doesn’t work. It will turn on but isn’t useful. The driveway is also very awkward. You can’t turn around in the driveway and if you back out of it or want to back in from the road you’re facing the wrong direction unless you pass the cabin and go turn around in someone else’s driveway. But over all we had a great time and would recommend staying here.

Great cabin!

My family and I loved staying at the Mountain Side Retreat. It was very clean and in a great location. We were about 10 mins. from Dollywood and 10-15 mins. from all of our favorite restaurants. We loved how the cabin was layed out and loved playing the shuffleboard table in the evenings. The area is very quiet, the only things you hear are animals and the Dollywood train horn if you're outside which was very enjoyable for us. I suggest this cabin for anyone who wants a peaceful escape that's still very close to everything. The host, Kishan is great! He is very friendly and if you ask him a question, he will answer immediately!

Beautiful little cabin but expectations came up short.

Check-in was a breeze and the cabin had what we needed. Even though the pool table and fire table on the back deck was not provided as advertised, the outdoor TV was used often. Several outlets in bathrooms were out and being addressed. We did lose hot water the last day of our trip . The owner was prompted in communication and would rent another cabin from them but maybe not this property again.

Nice cabin!

This was a very nice cabin, beautiful view and very cool design. We loved staying here and would come back.Great communication with host. Clean, comfortable, the grill outside is great. A lot of games, and some kitchen utensils. I suggest bringing yours if you plan to cook. My only comment is that there is no firepit outside and shown in some pictures, which was a bummer because we brought a lot of marshmallows to burn there!
