★ ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS ★
The entire region is hilly and could be challenging to navigate. However, the cabin is very close to Hwy 454 (Birds Creek Road). There is a 1 vehicle gravel road with a short drive (about 2 mins) from Hwy 454 to the cabin and it doesn't require a 4x4 vehicle.
We recommend that you download an "offline map" in your Map program. It will let you navigate our cabin and around the area (automatically) even if you don't have cell coverage.

This is a lovely large cabin and its very secluded. It was hard to find and the driveway is steep and kind of difficult to get up in my non 4 wheel drive vehicle bur we made it.Pros: This is clearly someones home its lovingly decorated and maintained and was spotless when we arrived. The cabin is much larger than the pictures portray. There is alot of space and beds. Wonderful kitchen!The deck is huge. But the real star of this cabin is the pool. Perfect. We spent all our time there. The kids loved it. Cons: not many but the internet was spotty ( i had to run the tvs on my mobile hotspot), the path to the pool is steep and could use a railing, the air hockey table and fireplace didnt work, the deck could use some new bigger furniture but worst of all the hot tub was not functional at all our entire stay. The owner was responsive and apologetic when problems were brought to their attention. I would def book again if the hot tub is replaced and i would bring more people!

Once we were booked and already paid we were informed that the hot tub was broken. That’s one of the main reasons I wanted a cabin. Once we got there the property was very overgrown and not well kept at all. The inside was decent definitely not like the pictures though. Cobwebs everywhere. The upstairs “game room” the basketballs were flat and also an apple with a bite taken out of it was left in a chair.The back porch was very dirty. The pool was cloudy with trash left from previous guests. The yard was basically weeds. My advise don’t waste your money keep looking.

The house itself was "clean" except the stains on the couch and dim lighting. 2 kcups and spoiled creamer? Slippery showe? Of course, dim lighting so you can't see what's biting you!! I am still itching. My partner also had to scrub your moldy baking pan just so we could cook.The outside was terrible: rotten wood on porch, weed overgrowth, and algae pool. Not to mention the moldy furniture on deck. We never got to use the pool because of the condition. And your hot tub? It was locked down. Probably because of all the MOLD GROWTH. I can submit evidence, if you request.Let's discuss all of the JUNK behind the pool. You haven't serviced that property in how many years? Children's toys? A disgraceful solar cover? Oh, but the pool is heated? Heated from a ravine with debris?As a property owner, you should be not only EMBARRASSED but willingly offering a refund to us. I demand a REFUND.Thank you!

Loved this place!

First off, we came in. The place was very clean. Nicely furnished. The out doors was very nice. We loved sitting on the deck when it wasn’t raining. Kids enjoyed the pool and wanted to stay in it the whole time. Plenty of cooking supplies. So many things that I forgot but they had it right there. I always worry when I stay away from home because I am so picky about my beds. I melted into this bed. I love it and would have gladly paid the fee to bring it home with me haha. Over all. Love the place. Nothing negative to say at all and will definitely look into staying again!!

Worst experience ever the place was not clean the tub had spider webs dust everywhere the towels were stained and smelled bad we had to wash them the back porch was very dirty including the grill the hot tub was not clean and it had a weird smell we did not use it the side walk to the pool and around the pool including the pool chairs were very dirty this place is awful i contacted the host to let her know about it all she did was sent someone to clean the hot tub and the cleaning person went and got the trash in the water out but it still had a weird/ugly smell the pictures they have up looked so nice thats why i booked this place but when you get there is something else in my opinion they shouldnt be renting this place it is not healthy to be in a dirty place specially if you have kids (i feel cheated )

Check with host if property is clean before stay.

Check in and communication with the host was great but place itself was not. We arrived right at the 4pm check in time and the place was a complete mess. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room were completely untouched from the last guests. Cleaning was not done at all before we arrived. Pool and hot tub are also far from clean. Pictures of the pool in the listing are very misleading. Please check with host before you arrive if cleaning was completed, we got a full refund. Was just a pain since we had to find a last minute place to stay. The customer service team was great in helping us get our money back in full.

We arrived about an hour and a half after checking time locks were not working could not get into the cabin for about 20 minutes had no cell phone service finally got a hold of the owner he had to provide a lockbox key someone came out to the property and was there for about an hour trying to set the lock pool was terribly dirty cloudy stuff all over the bottom hot tub cover was off hot tub was completely cold dirty across the bottom no chemicals in it bags of open pesticides on outside of the house spilled around driveway area wires exposed on the house fencing was broke rusted sharpened jagged there was these metal studs sticking out of the concrete all the way around the pool I ended up cutting my foot on one while looking at the pool went in and got a bottle of shock for the pool after the third day it was okay but it was only a 5-day stay inside of the house was clean no real issues there just was not provided what was advertised on your website the outside amenities were not great and definitely not as listed they had the pool people come out the following day they said the pool was not open yet this year and he didn't suggest swimming in it until being treated which is when I went and bought the bottle of shock then the owner asked if he could send someone out for a third day I refuse the third day because we only had a 5-day stay and I didn't want someone working on the property while we were there trying to enjoy a private vacation the view from our back deck was a tipped over outhouse on a cabin they're working on next door smell was not great owner was helpful trying to get the key situation taken care of was not helpful at all about the outside amenities just stated that people were just there and had swam in it I don't know how cuz the pool was disgusting Kevin next to us was being built there was a crew of people there everyday at 8:00 a.m. till about 7:00 at night working hammering saw and banging guys talking swearing this was just not a great stay I don't know that I will ever use your application again I will go back to the other rental place where I have had no problems owner did offer $100 gift card for inconvenience but I feel what I paid for for the house and what I got after arriving was not fair and I do feel ripped off I have pictures of property in pool as well

The door with code and (3)others have dead bolts only from inside. I felt unsafe due to not having a chain lock or something more from inside…others could have keys or code and come in at anytime. Needs upkeep outside. We were unable to use heated outdoor pool due to weather conditions-rain, etc. The 3 grandsons loved having the upstairs/game room to their selves mostly. Area felt a little sketchy with gunshots during our last night of stay. Otherwise very pleasant.

We didn’t stay here, they canceled on us the on our 8hr drive there. I’m glad I checked my email or we would have been in a mess. I feel like they should have called. Now I understand That stuff happens but when you know your guest are on their way you should make a effort to reach out to them, especially on a holiday weekend.
