Beautiful property in a great location! Everything was exactly as expected. The property was clean and check-in/check-out was super easy. We enjoyed Dollywood, the Smokies Mountain NP, and local restaurants. We would definitely recommend.

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay! It felt like we were at home! The road up to the cabin was very steep ,but it felt very private at a dead end road. The surrounding towns had a lot to offer!

Relaxing Retreat

We had an amazing time at Campfires and Cornbread! One of the highlights for me was picking blackberries just outside the cabin with my grandchildren. We brought our Great Dane with us and I was prepared to keep her on a leash while outside but she did not need to be. She enjoyed hanging out on the porch with us. We spent a lot of time at the cabin just relaxing and playing games. We had everything we needed right there. We did not see any bears but there was a deer and 3 turkeys. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Loved every minute we stayed there. This wasn't my first time in Tennessee and, it was the best cabin I ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, we even seen a bear our last morning there. Wonderful experience.

Cozy Cabin/terrible road

We absolutely love the cabin! It's beautiful! Everything is clean and cozy. The view is really nice too. We don't have any problem entering in the cabin it was easy. The only issue we had is the road. It was not an easy drive for us especially going up. You need to have a 4x4 drive unfortunately we don't have. You also need a mirror on the one turn you know which one. Overall we had a great time staying at the cabin! Definitely would love to stay at the cabin again but not going back on the road again.

Fall Family Vacation

The location has a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. The drive to the cabin does require a 4x4 vehicle. It’s a windy road. Upon arrival, I had a door code but no instructions on how to get into the cabin. For a first-timer, it could not be obvious. There is a lock on the porch and then the door lock. I would encourage a bit more clarity for future visitors. Upon arrival, the cabin has a cozy vibe. It’s a perfect cabin for a family of 5 people. The heating and ventilation are not working in the first main room near the front door. The cabin is well-equipped with cooking appliances. I would highly recommend additional linens and towels during one’s stay. Especially in time of fall when temperatures are low and cold. The management company provides references for great nearby restaurants. They were proactive in extending our stay. During our visit, we had to leave for medical reasons, and they did not refund us for the days we did not occupy the cabin after all.

Great weekend

Clean and cozy. Just a hair further away that what I thought...Getting there in the dark I knew it was a gravel road, but at one point it was mostly a dirt road little sketch. No lights were on to welcome us a d keypad from door was not obvious at first we were trying code on a lockbox until we figured it out in the dark. Once in everything was great and its one of those places you might even aspire to own yourself one day, a great cabin in the woods. Very private at the end of road.

Fall Break Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean and nicely decorated. My kids loved the air hockey table. We did have issues the whole time with the door keypad, but we were given a lockbox code upon arrival. It was no problem using a key. We had to fill up the hot tub when we there because it was making a loud noise and extremely low. The main negative is that there is a picture of a gas grill, but they do not provide propane. So, I’m not sure why the advertise the grill. At the time of our stay, it was not stated anywhere on vrbo that you had to bring your own propane. The location is great and easy to get to anywhere you want to go under 30 min. We would stay here again based on the cleanliness and location. The property management company is quick to respond to text.

Had a great time, appreciate that it is off the beaten path. Wears valley is gorgeous with plenty to do for a few days. Well within short driving distance to everything worth seeing! The property itself is isolated, which is even better! Hot tub time is private! Coffee on the porch is without hearing others talking, or looking at you. And, there is a view! Plenty of space in the cabin itself, very comfortable with all the amenties. Even lost to the wife in air hockey! Would be great for a couple couples or even those with kids (even teens I would imagine). Would definitely stay here again.

This is without a doubt the cleanest and nicest cabin my family and I have ever stayed in!

This cabin is beautiful and SO well equipped. The owners have thought of every detail. The listing, unless updated since I looked, doesn’t reflect that there’s a washer and dryer, so know that if you choose to pack light and run a load or two, just bring a few pods and dryer sheets and you’re good to go! We saw a mama bear and her triplets from the back deck! We had a fire in the fire pit and made s’mores. The owners drilled holes in a tree stump and supplied metal roasting sticks! Our grown kids enjoyed the hot tub. We enjoyed both pots of coffee and pods, I mean who supplies a name brand Kerurig?!? Our three year old grandson played (wallowed) in the floor and his clothes never looked dirty. It is simply an amazing cabin with an incredible views. The only negative that I’ll note, I personally would not rent it in the winter months when there is any chance of snow. The driveway is super steep and it made me very nervous. It’s preferable to arrive your first day before dark. I thought we’d made a wrong turn.

Secluded and breathtaking

I didn't really want to review the property because I don't want the secret to get out!!! When you enter the driveway, this gorgeous property opens up on top of the mountain, with the most phenomenal views. The fall color was rich and surrounding the home. The interior was everything they say and more. If ever I owned a property there, this is exactly what I would look for. I felt the prices were very reasonable compared to what I've paid in the past for so much less. Thank you for the opportunity to share your amazing property. We will definitely be back. BTW, showing the property during different seasons in the listing is a welcome touch.

Our key pad did not work the one evening we got back from dinner but management responded very quickly to us and helped us get right in. Had a great time and would love to come back. The only thing I would say is the place could use some dresser drawers to put clothes awhile staying.

Just perfect!

Where do I start? The booking was easy breezy and the communication with property manager was clear. I had a million questions prior to arrival and they answered each question courteously and promptly. I knew this was a fairly new property but I am quite a picky guest. The property was amazing. It’s literally a 10 min drive from the Smokies. It’s secluded and you can see the Smokies while drinking coffee in the morning. Every part of the house was spotless, it was beautifully decorated, it had a great floor plan, and it was just great all around. We are cooks and loved the fully-stocked kitchen. Baking sheet, blender, hand mixer, pots, pans, containers, ramekins, pizza pan, s’mores sticks, quality knives, wine glasses, and did I mention the beautiful dinnerware? Yes, black bear theme. Every single detail in this property was well done. Stay here, you will not regret it.

Quiet get away

Everything was great with a couple of small items. First the door code was wrong, but I was given the correct one when I called in. Apparently they gave me the previous stay code via email. The second item relates to the equipment in the kitchen. It’s pretty stocked already, however really could use a couple more pots. Like a large pot for pasta and a medium size one too. Thats it! All was well and we enjoyed our time in the cabin. Thank you.
