"Paws-A-While" is perfectly located on a large private lot in a beautiful mountain setting with a gorgeous view, yet just minutes from Townsend, all the action of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

House Rules are as follows: Check in time is 4pm, checkout is 10am. No parties or events, no smoking, no pets, children are not allowed, minimum age for renters is 21, max occupancy is 2 adults. We are firm on this policy.

The cabin is warm and cozy and provides all the amenities you would have at home including security cameras outside which are aimed only at the front entrance. The main level has a fully stocked kitchen with lovely decor. Vaulted ceilings to enjoy the breathtaking views, comfortable living area with a gas log fireplace, and a king size bedroom suite.

The view is only more stunning when you step out onto either of the huge decks. Comes complete with a hot tub to watch the evening sunsets – Sit back and enjoy the view while sitting in one of the wooden rocking chairs.

Cable TV are located in the bedroom, the living room and the recreation room (big screen tv in the rec. room). The cabin is Wi-Fi enabled throughout, so bring your laptop and you can stay “connected”, if the urge hits you.

Just 10 miles from the cabin and you’re right in the heart of the attractions, entertainment, shopping, and a wide range of dining selections on the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and just 15 miles from Gatlinburg and the National Park. Hundreds of shops offering quilts, antiques, and a wide range of local shops with arts, crafts, and collectibles that make the days long and the stories even better. When evening falls, there are numerous options for entertainment from musicals, to magic, to shindigs and down home country fun.

When you head back to your cabin, you’ll find a wonderful cozy atmosphere with a view that is simply, “Spectacular”. As the sunset fades and night moves into morning, you’ll once again have the opportunity to enjoy a sunrise from the deck perhaps while having coffee or tea.. We hope this wonderful panoramic view of nature will leave you with memories that will endure you to return again and again..

Beautiful Log Cabin with Awesome Views

The cabin was clean and full of amenities. The view was spectacular. Even though their was a cabin next door, it really felt secluded and that you were all alone with just the wilderness around you.

Paws a While

We loved our stay at Paws a While. The cabin was exactly as described and shown in the pictures - and the view was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect location being close enough to the sights and adventures that can be found in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Cades Cove but far enough out to feel immersed in the nature of the mountains. We had a bear visit the first night we arrived as it came down the mountain and went walking down the road in front of the cabin. What a treat! Check in and out was easy and communications were perfect. The bed was comfy too and shower water pressure was great. 🙂 We had everything we needed to enjoy this stay 100% and would recommend for any couple desiring a beautiful mountain getaway.

The View

We were in the area for our nephew’s wedding and are so happy we found this wonderful cabin. The views were absolutely amazing. We loved watching the fog roll in… a true smoky experience. And the moon rising over the mountain. Wow! Everything in the cabin was just perfect. So well appointed with anything you’d need in the kitchen. The bedroom was a delightful little comfy cave. And even the bathroom was gorgeous. All-in-all, a very well thought out cabin. And a wonderful stay! Can’t wait to go back.

Just what we needed!

We enjoyed our stay here so very much! The cabin is beautiful inside and out and the view is simply amazing!! We loved relaxing on the deck, the hot tub, air hockey table and boss toss game! This is one of the best places we’ve stayed and would love to come back. It’s close enough to Pigeon Forge to shop and eat but off the beaten path to truly relax and unwind. Loved going to the general store in Wears Valley too. Made many good memories on this trip and thankful we found this cabin!

Amazing view,lovely comfy cabin. Master bedroom and en-suite was on same level as living/ kitchen , so good for limited mobility issues. Saw bears outside the deck and then they came a bit too close on the main deck one evening. Keep your doors locked!

Perfect getaway

Gorgeous view!

My husband and I just spent 3 days at the cabin, and it was absolutely perfect. The view from the deck is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

One of the best...

...that we have stayed in in the last 30 years. This is a place that we will definitely come back to. It was very clean. Had tons of utensils pans, measuring cups plates, cups bowls. On a very quiet mountain road with out of this world views right of the back deck. Super bathrooms, fast reliable Wi-Fi, clean water, it had it all. Great Mountain Getaway

This is our second visit to this cabin. The views are spectacular and the cabin is well kept and very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck enjoying the view and relaxing in the hot tub. To us the location is ideal as it is away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, yet it is close enough to get there with a short drive.

Beautiful Cabin with an Amazing View

Very nice cabin, cozy, very clean and comfortable. Amazing view from the back deck. Hot tub is wonderful in the crisp fall air. Located just far enough away from all the tourist things to have that mountain feel, but still close enough to go into town for a nice dinner. Just a great place to relax for a few days, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

No better property!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It was clean and beautiful! It was just far enough where you have a beautiful view of the Smokies and peace and quiet but close enough to town where you can get to everything easily. Host was very easy to get in contact with and incredibly helpful. I would make sure you bring your own blanket. There’s only 1 blanket we could find in the cabin to use and it was more for a bed. But overall great place and we will be booking again!

One of the Best Cabins

This cabin out rates all others we have rented over past 10 years. The seclusion, but not too far from activities. The views are amazing. Beautiful Home Away from Home

We first stayed here in April 2021 and loved it so much we had to return! My fiancé and i love sitting out on the balcony and taking in the beautiful view. At night the sky is FILLED with stars. A nice quiet getaway was just what we needed and this cabin is in the perfect location for that! Check in/out process is nice and smooth. A storm had knocked out the internet the day we arrived, but management was easy to get ahold of and took care of everything quickly! The cabin is fully stocked with games to keep you entertained on nights in. We are so happy we were able to stay here again, we got engaged here this trip so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. 10/10

5 stars do not do this place justice. This was by far the best cabin that I have ever stayed in. That being said, we have stayed in a few different ones in the area. The view from the cabin is the best! Pictures do not do this place justice. From the decor in the cabin, which by the way is awesome with all the little details, to the back porch's and the game room. This was also the cleanest cabin I have ever seen. Hospitals arent this clean. If I could give 100 stars I would. There are cabins near this one, but I promise you that you wont even notice accept the drive in. It feels so secluded. Its only about 25-30 min from Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg. My wife and I came to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary and to just reset our selves mentally. This was literally our Heaven on earth. We also saw a bear our last day there passing through under the porch. We WILL be coming back to this cabin! I recommend to everyone, dont pass the opportunity to stay here.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that black bears were around. We went directly into the cabin to check it out before we unloaded all the stuff for the week. Went back out to get our bags and a mom and 3 cubs were playing by the truck. It was a great experience to see them up close (15 yards)
