Ruby - a Gem at Sama Sama Express

We booked a room at Sama Sama Express for a day as we got to know that our flight had got delayed and the lay-over was now 11 hours. Wise decision. Apart from benefit of staying within the airport, the Sama Sama Express was very comfortable and relaxing. My 80 year old mother got to sleep for about 4 hours and I got to take a shower and sleep. The Manager on Duty, Ruby was exceptional, understanding and pro-active with making arrangements. Another family, with elderly parents, were given accommodation, again by Ruby and they were highly appreciative of her efforts.

Impossible to find. Must have asked 10 different people and not one of them knew where it was. In addition, they do NOT tell you until AFTER you’ve booked that the hotel is INSIDE the terminal, so if you exit, you CANNOT a reach the hotel any longer. Tried messaging the hotel after arrival and didn’t hear back until well after it was too late. Wasted over $100 for a hotel I could never find. Ridiculous. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I loved the ease and convenience of this hotel (once I found it). After going back and forth which which hotel to stay at, I confused the two sama sama's and Sharil was kind enough to assist me with transferring my reservation at 2 in the morning, which was so much appreciated after long travels! The food was good, rooms were comfortable, and lots of amenities. Also nice to walk across to the airport when my flight was cancelled. My only complaint was that my room had a strong odor and I'm not sure what it was, but the rest of the hotel was fine. I would definitely stay again though due to convenience and service.
