Nice view. Nice hotel. But the location is not very convenience if you would like to take bus 2xx (10-15 min walk). Overall it is nice.

The reception staff is not helpful it’s the way they say no they did not offer to help when we ask if they could book the tour for us which we took the brochure from the hotel. The way they ask us to pay for the use of jacuzzi could be more polite. They also ask us to book one day in advance to use the Jacuzzi. After we agree to pay they say to come to reception to get the 2 bottles of sparking drink. It should be conveyed before we pay.. the jacuzzi was not turn on and we had to walk a level down to call the reception to get help. What was worst was the water they was out from Jacuzzi jet was filled with algae and smell bad.. we could not bother to complain as we were running out of time for our other appointment. Bad hotel experience which is very unusual for us..

Great place, 711 only next to the hotel. 15mins walk to restaurants & other shops.There are a couple of jacuzzi outdoor at the top floor.

The hotel staff were very friendly and had working level of English experience. They were very helpful in assisting us call our car rental company in Jeju to try to revise our date of rental in Korean. The hotel room was very nice and comfortable.

Nice view with clean rooms and helpful staff

Everything is clean and nice. Room has view of ocean and an island outside. But our room was on the lower floors which had also had views of some power lines. Room is small but manageable. Hotel staff were courteous and understands English well. Location is not so close to restaurants but we were taxi’ing around anyway. Overall, we like our stay.

Great starting point for exploring Jeju

Nice place for resting after long hours of touring around beautiful Jeju, plenty of restaurants and a couple of pubs/bars less than a block away. Staff was very kind and helpful and were happy to answer to each of my questions to my full satisfaction. Room was very nice and comfortable. The balcony with the ocean view was really nice. Hotel's breakfast was delicious and well varied.

Staff very helpful. We requested for additional towel and water bottle and were delivered immediately . Soap and shampoo was replaced every day. The double bed was big . Good hotel to stay.

A nice hotel to travel with your baby

Our first reason we visited Howard Johnson was because of their very important baby (VIB) service. They provided a baby cot and a baby bathtub during our stay. If your child is older you can also request a bed fence(?) Instead of the cot. The overall cleanliness was okay. The sheets were okay. The bathroom was incredibly clean and well laid out. I really give credit to the nice bathroom. The view overall is not your dream beachside view, as the neighborhood is more of a harbour than a beach. But the view, looking down at the houses and the harbor isn't so bad either. (Refer to the attached photo) The parking lot was rather small compared to the number of rooms provided, but we found our spot even though we checked in at 9pm On a weekday. Not sure how bad the contention might be on the weekends. Overall, we were satisfied with our trip, and if we are to visit jeju again, we would put Howard Johnson on the list of candidate hotels we'd stay at!

Excellent Hotel

A clean and comfy hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It is located near Cheonjeyeon Falls and an arty street leading to Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market. Would stay here again on return visit.

Love this hotel. Staff were very helpful even some speak lesser English. They were so willing to help. There was once I made a booking in error and they tried very hard to assist me to call the agent direct. Hotel bed is very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel.

Reasonable priced hotel

Staffs are helpful although they are not very fluent in English. Overall, the rooms are cleaned and reasonably comfortable. All rooms have a balcony facing the sea Central air con system and its get stuffy in the room when the air con cant be switched on. Location is quite convenient to various attractions.

Ocean view - roof top hot tubs!

Stayed for several days - walking access to beach and markets. MUST reserve time in roof top hot tubs - great views and relaxation after hiking.

Pros: Nice view, friendly staff, good value, clean and comfortable Cons: Not enough car park space but the team takes care of your car, parking at a local car park. Small room.

Clean room and comfortable bed

Booked a family room with Ocean View. Was assigned a room on level 6 which was not much of a ocean view from this level. The first thing when we step in the room was how small it is to accomodate 3 pax. (1 double bed and 1 single bed). There is no space to walk if we open our luggages. Unless we put our luggage in the balcony. Spoke to the front desk officer for a bigger room or at least a room with a good ocean view and not facing/looking at buildings. (Was told no more rooms in this category or higher level). We end up booking another room for 1 pax so we could stay comfortable. I would say the beds are very comfortable. (Especially if you like firm mattresss). Breakfast is good value. For hotel guests OS (16,500 per pax)
