My sister and I have bought breakfast voucher for my stay but my sister was tired in the morning and decided to stay in the room. So I went to have breakfast alone in the breakfast room. After I finished, I took some bread and a bit jam for my sister for her to eat in the hotel room. But I was stopped by the staff and the staff claimed that I have "stolen" food from the hotel. I tried to explain to him that I was taking some food for my sister to eat as she decided to not come down to eat. It did not change his mind and he said my sister must come down herself to have breakfast. How rude and unfriendly!

Overall the hotel is ok. It was clean and a walking distance from the Ollie market but what I didn't like was the bathroom. When you shower everything gets wet and the drainage was not optimal so the water puddles there all day around the toilet. So you end up having to clean/dry with multiple towels. What had me concerned the most is that at night if you have to go to the bathroom you could slip in the dark. And getting your feet wet every time you go into the toilet is not a nice sensation. Also the light went out in the bathroom so I would have to finish my shower in the dark. I was traveling with my elderly mother so these things had me concerned but luckily nothing happened.

Very friendly staff and parking attendant who took care of parking our car. The rooms were clean but the layout of the washrooms were a bit odd with the shower and toilet in the same room without any dividers, so water from the shower sprayed onto the toilet and the entire floor would be wet. Great location being walking distance to the Maeil Olle Market and close to lots of restaurants.

Shower and toilet seat are in the SAME space without any partitioning. The floor floods for 5 to 10 mins after you shower so if you need to use the bathroom then you're standing in inches of dirty bath water. Told the manager but he shrugged it off.

Service was excellent, from front desk staff to valet. They had the car already outside for us when we checked out. It seems to be an older building which they are working to improve. The hallways were stiffy and one of the bathrooms smelled pretty bad. We tolerated it since we were staying for just one night.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Immaculate room, comfortable beds. Excellent location close to so many restaurants and walkable to some attractions. Valet parking so convenient. I find the hotel to be incredible value considering the room and service quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seogwipo. The staff are so thoughtful, helpful, warm and kind - it really makes the stay extra pleasant. Thank you!

Comfortable stay in great location

Hotel the Grang hits all the right spots for me, such that I've been back for the 2nd time just 4 months later. Jay runs the hotel with Immense pride & he should be: - Hotel room public areas are very clean - Beds are super comfortable (firmness is just nice, sheets so smooth & cooling) - Air-conditioning can be adjusted separately (there's also floor heating for those cold days) - no worries on parking your rental car, Jay and his staff (Bruce & Donny) are always ready to take over with Valet service once you've arrived. - laundry service is available, check with front desk/Jay The hotel is walking distance to good food Olive Young Seogwipo Olle Market. Bonus for families: they have rooms set up for 2 adults 2 kids. Ultimately, the next time I'm back in Jeju - I'll definitely be staying with Hotel the Grang. Meanwhile - please enjoy a stay for me, already missing the whole experience.
