this is a resort hotel with nice swimming pool and full size gym and with onsite restaurants. its similar to a casino hotel in Vegas. A high end place to stay when visiting this side of island, but as its a resort the prices for the restaurants are much higher. for example, dinner buffet is $90 US dollar per person
We recently went to Haevichi Hotel in Jeju Island Korea. Although it is fancy and plush, we did not like it because Everything costs money to use- a lot of money! The dinner buffet costs 95,000 won, which is about $95 American dollars!!! It wasn't worth the money, and I noticed that much of the food was untouched . Do they throw the food out or give it to the staff members at the end of the night? The comfortable looking sofa at the pool costs 22,000 won to sit in, and no one was using it. They have karaoke Korean style- individual rooms with karaoke. This cost is 20,000 won, and no one was there. They even had a game room with tons of games, but they charged 5,000 won just to walk in there! This is why I say that the facilities are terrible- it is so expensive that it's as if they have no facilities there at all, except for the pool which was amazingly free. It was difficult to find towels though. The fitness area was mediocre, and the man working there just glared at me. I do not recommend this hotel unless you appreciate good looking staff members escorting you to the elevator, since there was not much else to offer.
