About this property
8 Person Holiday Home in Stonglandseidet
Cozy cottage in an idyllic location, directly on the south coast of the island of Senja. Great view from the wooden terrace of the house! Good fishing and hiking area all around! Built in 1972, the ground floor wooden house was partially renovated in 2007. It has 4 bedrooms, two of which each have a 120 cm wide double bed, one of them with a single bed. In addition, a bedroom with bunk beds for 2 persons. Allowed are max. 8 people. The living area has a wood burning stove for cooler days. Cot and two high chairs also available. The house is located in the small village of Buvik, directly on the sea and just above a beach, which offers for play and bathing fun of the children. Enjoy the magnificent sea view from the slightly elevated terrace of the house! You also look to the island of Lemmingen, a bird sanctuary. The fresh sea breeze is relaxing in every season and in winter you can experience here in clear weather, the colors of the northern lights in the sky up close. The coastal landscape of the island is a good terrain for walks with the family, whether along the coast or in the mountains. The Ånderdalen nasjonalpark offers rich fauna and flora. At the top of the mountains you have a magnificent view towards Andfjorden in the west and Solbergfjorden in the east. Good fishing spot on site, boat rental in Skrolsvik. In addition, numerous fishing waters, including salmon rivers. Freshwater fishing allowed only with a fishing license. Day trips to the west coast of the island with its rugged mountain scenery and idyllic beaches are recommended. In summer there is a car ferry between Gryllefjord and Andenes. From Andenes you can take part in a whale safari and, if you are lucky, see the big sea creatures up close as they suddenly appear next to the boat. The island of Senja is connected by a bridge to the mainland.
