Bad experience

Myself and 2 other female friends stayed in this villa recently. Villa manager checked us in and left, very shortly after an electrician arrived to do a check on the lights. When we went into the bedroom there after we discovered a wallet and $1500 had been stolen. We then found out that no maintenance was scheduled. Villa manager took us in a taxi at our expense to a police station 30 minutes away then another station 30 minutes away because after speaking to the police at the first one in there own language it was decided that we were at the wrong station which seemed strange. Returned to villa on the first night of holiday at midnight after no dinner, not pleased. It's seems very odd that someone knew when to target our villa as we had not even unpacked. We too trustingly believed it was a villa worker. We were offered after 2 nights that we could leave the villa but still get a full refund, informed of this on our second night at 6pm when we tried to accept the offer at 730pm and arrange check out for the following morning the offer was changed and it was going to be that we needed to leave right away on that second evening and that it would only be a refund for 1 night anyway. This was our chance to re coup some of the loss. However the goal posts were shifted which was upsetting. No compensation was offered on request and I am unsure how someone knew exactly when to target us. Overall a very disappointing stay. I urge others to be careful
