Great Villa in a pretty good location
Stayed in the Art Gecko villa for about six nights at the beginning of March. The villa is specious and well kept. The cleaning crew came by daily and did a quick sweep of the place - they do an awesome job (very very sweet). Check in and check out was easy and communication with the owner and property manager was quick and everyone was very responsive. The living space/kitchen is not closed off- it’s an open space just as you see in the pictures. There are two separate sleeping areas (across the pool from each other) with bathrooms in each. The bathrooms are also outside and partially covered. It rained once and you could feel it while showering/using the bathroom but it didn’t bother us (felt great on sunny days). They have a binder in the living space with tons of information about the local area as well as transportation and excursions etc. The location is not exactly Seminyak- it’s about a 40 min walk to Seminyak square but in our opinion still a great centralized location. There are many great restaurants nearby (strawberry fields was a favorite) and mini marts in case you need something/forgot anything. As in the name there are quite a bit of Geckos around but they didn’t bother us. It did rain one of the days and the open space got some dirt and bugs in it but was gone the next day after the cleaning crew came and wasn’t an issue. The pool was cleaned a few times a week and so are the sheets. Fresh towels were also provided. All in all great Villa- would stay there again if we came back. (Fits four comfortably)
