A hidden gem

Fabulous villa. Yoga’s breakfasts were fantastic. He is just the nicest guy in the world and nothing was too much trouble for him. He arranged our three trips out and also for Merry to come and cook us a Balinese meal one night which was just fabulous too. We weren’t sure how this would work but we chose from a menu which Yoga gave us and Merry came to the villa and cooked our meals. One of the best meals of the holiday and that is saying something ! A similar idea for breakfast was that we were given a menu one day and we chose what we wanted for the next day and what time we wanted our breakfast served and Yoga would make this for us. He is such an unassuming guy and so nice . He really makes the villa! The rooms were just perfect and just exactly as you see on the photos. Downside was it was a good 15 min walk to the beach through some footpaths which are still in the process of being made up. If you don’t mind dodging the JCB then it’s fine. Once on the beach, it’s heaven

Lovely Villa with a great butler

We checked in and had no T.V's working and no WIFI. My children went for a swim in our private pool and came out 10 minutes later with burnt skin. We asked them to check the chlorine and was told chlorine hadn't been added for 2 days so levels were fine. The adults tried the following day to swim and all had burnt skin so we asked for someone to come and check the pool. We went out for the day as we had no WIFI no T.V reception and no swimming pool and was hoping all would be checked and fixed on return. We were given a modem for our WIFI but nothing was done about pool. After a firm phone call asking for it to be fixed ASAP someone came the following morning to test. The pool had an acid in the water due to pool not being kept up to date with chemicals and needed 8 kgs of chemicals added to make it safe to swim. We could not swim in the pool until day 4 of our 5 day stay. The hotel did give us a pass to go to the Waterpark on day 3 so we could swim and cream for our burns.
