TRAVELERS BEWARE This property is in a nice location, has an okay rating and mostly good reviews… DO NOT BE FOOLED! I usually stay elsewhere on ‘eat street’ in Seminyak but opted for SSH as it was a fair bit cheaper and I was only staying for a few nights. When I arrived, the place looked a little run down and tired but that didn’t concern me. What did concern me was what I got when I entered my room. Dirty sheets, dirty pillows, stained towels, a stained toilet seat, a moldy shower, broken lamps, faulty powerpoints, marked walls and a funny smell. I was feeling pretty put off by this stage but decided to stay the night because it was so late. During the night, I felt a few things creeping and crawling in the bed. Woke up in the morning to BED BUG BITES on both my feet and a COCKROACH running past my suitcase. I went straight to reception in the morning to check out and she didn’t seem too surprised by my recount. I asked for a full refund and after getting Expedia involved, that is what I got. I will never ever stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Had a great couple days here! The location is great! Close to amazing shopping and restaurants, or a walk along the beach. The breakfasts were lovely and the staff were so kind and attentive. Great value!

Great location easy to get to beach, shops and restaurants. Hotel is more 1980s traditional European than Balinese but functional. Good pool too and laundry service was ideal.

Feral kids running and screaming!!

It was our 2nd stay here this trip, we won't stay again though! We were relaxing this morning and consider check in is at 2pm they let a woman with 2 feral kids in the room next door at 8.30am. The kids were screaming and shouting and banging on our doors.....we were trying to relax!! I think they are related to someone at the hotel as they were in the pool yelling and running behind reception. We were going to extend our stay but we will never return!! The room itself was ok pool view junior suite, large comfy room. Staff are nice. Pool has missing tiles and the air con leaked.

Fantastic location, property upstairs with a lift, market downstairs and a small supermarket, restaurants 2 upstairs and two downstairs. Music in the square every afternoon and more on the weekends. The customer service was amazing but the mirror was a bit tired, and the wall could use a scrub. The only downside is that if we left the toilet seat up the bathroom would stink. We had an amazing time, it is a short walk to the beach and we lounged at the pool for days, it would have been a bit better if there was shade over a part of the pool. Overall we would book again! Amazing people and location.

We spent 2 weeks at this hotel and it was quiet and so convenient. Even a cab to Legian or Kuta was quick and cheap. Our pool was clean and quiet and all the staff were frienfly. The bed was comfortable and the room was a generous size.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our week stay here. We had a junior suite facing the pool, literally 10 steps from our balcony. The staff are really lovely and friendly. The room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed and was cleaned daily. We had food also which was very cheap and really tasty. The hotel is right in the middle of shops and restaurants but was very quiet. Our room was at the back facing the sky lounge. We had a great stay here and the price was good.

In the main area of seminyak, we wanted to have a walkable experience and so we did. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Pool is nice. Bathroom just needs a bit of renovation but other than that great stay.

Good location

Lovely spacious room with balcony and everything needed including a comfortable armchair and bed. There was a restaurant serving a good selection of breakfasts and it was open for lunch and dinner. Downstairs were many other restaurants and shops and clothing stalls. Everything needed was close by but the beach was a long walk away.
