I usually like staying at Rio. The remodel rooms are good, the only issue I have is the bathroom is only half covered and the water leaks onto the floor can cause a puddle if the towel is not in the right spot. Especially when we have kids. Oh, and the lights kept flickery and part of it would go out, this is the bathroom & the hallway leading to the bathroom. I hope they get that fix.
Overall, I like our stay there. The staff is nice, and pool was great.

Very good for the price, Right on the beach, has a kitchen, Ocean view. Very easy check-in check-out. 1 -1/2 Block from Publix supermarket. 30 minutes from Miami International Airport. Will come again.

Getting chairs at the pool was a mess. They valve the day pool resort pass guest over those staying over nights. Added our name to the pool chair wait list and had to wait hours for a chair around the pool.

The property was decent, and maintenance and cleanliness were fine, but it's not been updated much, and they were short staffed. The room night price seemed high relative to value. Would recommend, as the staff they have is enthusiastic, and the location is in the midst of everything South Beach.
