Excellent family fun!

The unit was exactly as advertised. It was very beautifully furnished and had a wonderful esthetic, very beachy and relaxed. Everything was super clean. Lots to do in the community. The pool is large and well kept. Short drive to shopping, restaurants and beaches. We are looking forward to next year already

Perfect! Beauty on the lake and close to the ocean!

Our stay was awesome. The townhouse was clean and up to date. The kitchen was very well stocked. The outdoor equipment was also very well stocked for all the amenities this property had to offer. This was a private end unit. Excellent for fishing and kayaking. The pools were in great condition. Only a few minute drive to the beach. We loved the screened in porch as well. Highly recommend! Long Weekend

We enjoyed our time at Hummingbird Hideaway. It was convenient to Fenwick activities as well as Assateague Island. The property was well appointed, had plenty of amenities and afforded our family of 3 plenty of room to relax. We took advantage of our proximity to the beaches and spent time relaxing by the pool on property...even caught a few crabs by kayak! Justin was extremely helpful in providing recommendations and suggestions during our visit. He was communicative and pleasant to work with.

Hummingbird nest

A clean and well ordered place at the end of the lane, affording quiet and privacy and lots of birds. It allowed us to have a wonder family vacation. Plus, the pool is very clean and nice.

Kick back and relax

A wonderful getaway- completely outfitted with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Justin is a gracious host- he responded to emails and texts immediately. Check-in was easy thanks to the excellent information he provided prior to our arrival. This is truly a home away from home. Would definitely consider a return visit.

The stay overall was fantastic. Justin was a wonderful host, he gave me his number in case we needed to reach out to him for anything. The house was so great and the area was wonderful. Definitely recommend staying here and if I’m ever in the area again I would love to come back!

Beautiful place

The owner couldn’t have been more nice. Great communication. Lovely place even though the sun didn’t come out till we left 😁 Loved watching the Blue Heron and other birds. Great place for my husband to crab and fish. Hope to get back again next year!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

This home was perfect for our family of four. It was clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend getaway. We were out and about most of the weekend, but soaked up as much time as possible on the screened in back porch when we were home. The host was extremely responsive and no issues popped up during our stay. Would definitely book again!

Mallard Lakes was a great location for a family vacation. Our toddler had a great beach trip and the listing was exactly as advertised. The owners were very responsive and helping. Overall, we had a great experience.

Perfect spot!

The house was super clean, Justin was so easy to communicate with, and the house was in a great location. Close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and fun family things to do… and close to the beach! Overall, a perfect stay :)

FAMILY TIME

My SIster stayed at Jusitn's property. We have been coming to Mallard Lakes for over 10 years. Lots of amenities and you are just minutes from OC md where parking is free. She loved the property and some of the renovations that made it easy to upkeep. Also, the bedrooms had unique bed arrangements that allowed for family to spread out. Justin was a great host, very positive and welcoming to us.

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The home had more than enough space for us, it was very clean, everything you could want in the kitchen to make a meal including a spice drawer. The owner purchased a new infrared grill before our stay and my husband really enjoyed using it. The screened in back deck was the perfect spot to sit and have dinner and watch the ducks, and geese, we even saw a heron. The upstairs bathroom has a huge bathtub, and the king sized bed in the master was very comfy. The pool was a short walk and never too crowded, the community was so welcoming everyone waves and says hello, we took a walk almost every night. Check in and check out was very easy and the owner reached out to check how things were almost immediately. If you want to be a short drive to all the Maryland and Delaware beaches but without all the craziness of tourism I cannot recommend this area, and this home enough. We would stay again for sure.

Great community

Despite the terrible weather (it rained the whole time!), we enjoyed our stay. Hummingbird Hideaway was very clean and newly updated. The owner had all sorts of conveniences added, including lots of places to charge the phones, a keurig, an easy locking system for the door, kayaks, beach supplies, and an outdoor shower for cleaning off after the beach. Best of all, they provided crab traps and fishing equipment so we were able to take advantage of the wet weather. We caught five crabs and a flounder. Not a bad stay!
