Very small rooms , no room to put cases and walk around. 3 rd trip to Paris and shocked by the accomodation chosen by our Tour operator. Dodgy area and would have been terrified if on my own. Nothing like Paris at all.
I was a little surprised when the taxi pulled up to the hotel. The area is not the nicest but I didn't feel unsafe. The room was so small, my wife and I with our 4 suitcases couldn't fit. I did go down to the front desk and for an additional charge, I did get a bigger room. It was ok but the shower didn't have a curtain, the shower was in the corner of the room and the drain was just in the middle of the floor. You needed your shoes to go to the washroom until the water dried. The hotel is located right next to the Hoche Metro Station which made getting around very convenient. There are many places to eat around the area, both inexpensive and expensive, the choice is yours. The included breakfast didn't have any hot food. Danishes, fruit, cereal. The staff were great, they did what they could to help you when asked. I don't think I will stay here again in the future.
We stayed for 3 nights, and I'll start off by saying the location is not in the best area, however both my sister and I still felt safe enough to walk to near by laundry mats and restaurants/cafes during daylight. I wouldn't feel comfortable walking alone at night though. That being said, to get to Paris city centre wasn't too bad, about 25mins by metro, and using the metro was easy! The station is not even a two minute walk outside the hotel, so that was truly LOVELY! The beds were a lot more comfortable than I thought they'd be, given that this was more of a budget hotel option. My favourite part of our stay here though, was definitely the shower!!! It had TWO spray heads (one a rainfall shower head) and was absolutely devine! Best shower I've taken in a hotel EVER! Great water pressure with nice hot water. So glorious after a full day of walking around Paris. I would stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to budget conscious travellers wanting a good place to call home base as they spend their hard earned money exploring the city of Paris. After all, isn't that why you're in Paris? To see Paris, to eat their wonderfully cooked meals, taste little snacks along your way from food booths you can't find on tripadvisor and to explore thee death rooted history and culture?! Save some coin, enjoy the beds and showers here, and most of all enjoy what the city has to offer!
Good Staff, If some day I return to Paris...I'll book it again with no doubt. Excellent. They helped me to stroll in this big city, with maps, with directions and a nice smile...Rooms are exellent, every day was clean. Food also exellent. I recommend it.
This hotel is a real mixed bag! No point staying here if you are flying in or coming in by train etc. but good for driving into central Paris and needing an easy metro into the city. We had to pull in on the street outside the hotel to get directions as to how to access the hotel car park. We felt that the car was really secure here, and had no problems leaving our vehicle here. Area: at first glance the area did feel a bit dodgy! However, we saw no trouble and walked through here late at night with children. We ate locally one evening and the service was great enough. Just don't expect anyone to smile! Travel: the hotel is directly on the metro at the station Hoche. Brilliant connection straight into central Paris, though it does take approximately 20 minutes. Eating: we ate breakfast in the hotel once. Selection was good enough. Breakfast staff were helpful but bullied you into eating off your tray! We felt that the breakfast was quite pricey so we then bought our own from the local boulongerie and supermarket. Shops: turn left out of the hotel and there's a great pizza place plus bakers and a fab supermarket. We bought sandwiches to take into central Paris on our travels. Room: our family room was basic but clean. It was a great size for a family of four. The shower was excellent and air con worked fine. The wifi also proved excellent. The double bed did collapse and was a bit hard but we survived! Hotel Staff: all were lovely and extremely helpful with any queries that we had. In summary, the most positive aspect was the location and cleanliness of the room. If you want something above budget then this hotel is not for you!!!
We stayed only for one night. It is very close to the metro so it is easy to go to central Paris. It does take a while (~30 mins) but we paid only a fraction of the costs that one would pay if they stayed there. The room was air conditioned with a good bed. We had a very pleasant sleep. The bathroom had like a rainfall showerhead which we truly enjoyed. We drove to Paris so it was very convenient that the hotel had parking and it was covered too! It takes 2 codes to enter since there are 2 gates to get in the parking. We had no problems and felt that it was safe. Would definitely stay again.
We spent one night in this hotel on August 206. Everything was good: room, bed, breakfast. But we got there by car and booked also the car park (on payment) inside the hotel. The car park is closed with a full height fence the access is controlled via an electronic code. Nightime some broke the side window of my car and some personal items were taken away. We were at the police station and we waist the full day in order to recover the damage to the car since we were travelling from Italy through France. The Hotel has an insurance and therefore we asked to get some compensation for what we lost and paid for this event. We exchanged some mails with either the Hotel manager and with GM Consultant that is managing this issue. After almost one year only promises and also no answers to my last mails. This is not serious!!!
Hello , I stay in this hotel Check from 10 Dec 2016 to 13 Dec 2016 . I booked two room one for me and my wife and other one for children. Location is good. Near is Hoche metro station. You can get tube rail to any part of Paris. But just note Paris tube rail have many line and its bit complicated . So I suggest to read map properly before you start. Hotel breakfast is also good and there are many eating places outside. You can get Turkish kebab stall, bakery and many more. I can say in 5-10 min walking you will get 5-6 eating place. We went in winter hotel toilet is ok and have hot/cold water for shower. I will recommend to stay in this hotel for budget traveller. If you have any further question feel free to ask me Thanks Sandip
Not needing to be near the city centre attractions, we were just "passing through" Paris, this hotel fulfilled all our needs and we got a great deal, just 29 pounds a night. Rooms were clean and spacious, with a good sized bathroom and deep bath which is always a bonus. Hotel is located off the tourist track but is just 2 minutes walk from "Hoche" Metro station, with a trip to the centre of Paris taking under 20 minutes. The area is full of locals rather than tourists, but we didn't feel unsafe at any point. Would I return? For the right price, absolutely.
We stayed there for 3 nights. It is situated right next to the metro which takes about 15-20 mins to the center. There is a boulangerie, supermarket, (cheap) restaurants around. The room is very small but the bathroom is well spaced. Everything is clean. Personal is helpful and polite. Room service is good. Nothing to complain about (particulary if u pay 139€ for a double for 3 nights....), if you are on low budget or only go to the hotel to sleep and shower, this is a good choice. Airport by public transport 50 mins, by taxi (50€) it is 30 mins in the evening
