I have to change rooms 3 times. First time, the room has a missing bed. The next room was hot, dirty and dusty. Window was locked but asked to request it open. Reception told us if we weren't happy, we should check into another hotel. They disputed about the dust and they could see my face was red and inflamed as a result of allergy from the room. Eventually they relented and moved us to another room which was much cleaner and smelled cleaner too. Following day we had breakfast - worst spread I have ever seen. As I am relatively petite, many things I couldn't reach. There were quite a number of people around but not enough manpower to clear the plates. Location is good but I will never stay in that place and would not recommend the hotel. Poor manners though Sarah did try her best whereas others just quite argumentative. I have to literally prove to them the thickness of the dust next to the bed! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

never stayed in the suites before from Novotel, so was surprised how nicely made these are. Upgraded for a privileged room, and it was really big and nicely designed. There is not restaurnat although it was written and no room service, you can order a deliveroo which is strange but we did so, and had to collect the food at the reception. The heating is uncontrollable and was very hot in there. the views were nice city view. the balcony was not accessible and actually full of spiderwebs. But anyway nice rooms :) the breakfast was very good really. Parking is private and chargeable. city close, a but walking needed.

It was 31C outside when we arrived and the temperature in our superior suite was set at 25C. We lowered this to 5C to make the room more bearable but the aircon had been switched off and the heating turned on and this could not be changed. The temperature in our room during the night was definitely in excess of 30C and we did not sleep at all. ... We were moved to another room for our second night where the temperature was only around 25C. If these hotels cannot provide airconditioning all year round then they should NOT be classified as 4 star .Paper cups and wooden sticks to make your tea and coffee. Hotel parking(E12 per night) is furthest away from lift to reception in the underground car park. Good breakfast but no UK TV channels.

Lovely hotel in Rouen. Three night stay in September in a double room. Nice queen size bed, the second bed is smaller as it doubles as a sofa. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker in room, with a fairly good size table for two. Separate toilet area with sink. Room had both a bathtub and shower. Breakfast area was chick and the food was very good. The room was very large and comfortable. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Parking on site. Overall great experience, would return again.

This was a great stop over on our way home from holiday. Well located by the river, there was a few restaurants nearby and we had a nice meal. The parking was good, we didn't think the roof box would get in but it did! We didn't spend anytime sightseeing but we're back on the motorway in minutes in the morning which was what we wanted.

Stayed here for the 3rd time, and did not disappoint. Spacious bedrooms, very comfy beds and pillows, conditioned rooms. Garage parking, 12 Euros, not cheap, but safe, so worth it. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold choices. Very friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is in a great location, ideal for walking into Rouen centre, or the many restaurants and bars along the Seine.

A joy too stay here. Friendly staff on arrival with great help and advice in staying in Rouen. Stayed in the Superior Room for a family of four which was very spacious. Bonus of a privacy curtain to separate the children's beds to our double bed which gave you a bit of privacy in the evening. Separate toilet to the bathroom which was good with a shower and separate bath. Had a fridge and microwave which was a bonus so could heat up the children's drinks or snacks. Hotel situated away from the centre which is good as it's quiet but not too far to walk too. Nice view overlooking the river. My children already asking to stay here again next year when we drive up country through France on our way home. A added bonus of a great secure underground car park which you can leave your car in there after your late checkout of 12pm til 3pm so you can have another stroll around Rouen.

Good stop off point for UK travellers. Easy to access, decent rooms etc, nice staff, garage parking (extra cost). This was our third stay here on way to Dordogne. Just on our last stay - 01.09.17 - our room (317) - the toilet smelt of stale urine and the safe didn't work. We left early so didn't have time to complain to the management, but it would be good if they see this and do something about it.

Although not in the center of Rouen, the hotel is located at walking distance from the catedral. Large, modern and clean rooms. Friendly service. Good breakfast buffet. Neighbourhood is safe and there was plenty free parking space on the streets outside the hotel.

Lovely check in experience. Fabulous room size and layout. Ultra modern, everything worked and very clean. Decent sized fridge, microwave oven, etc. Good location for getting into the old town in about 10 minutes walk. Breakfast was very good. I was dissapointed that there was not the usual fresh mixed fruit selection only unprepared fruits but this was only a minor point. The ladies who served breakfast and keep everything stocked were fabulous and very friendly and polite. The bar staff who are also the receptionists were great too. All in all a great stay and we will come again. Tip for UK travellers. Visit C&A for clothes shopping. It's like Primark prices but how M&S quality used to be. For example I cannot get decent cotton socks in the UK anymore it's more like 60% - 75% cotton mixed with polyester or nylon and I start breaking into a sweaty rash just thinking of my feet in those! C&A 98% cotton! I stock up everytime im on the continent now. Also there is a well stocked Carrefour Express about 5 minutes from the hotel on Avenue Pasteur if you want drinks, snacks etc. There's also a McDonald's 5 mins walk if you don't fancy trekking into the old town. The Quai de Boisguilbert had some lovely riverside bar restaurants just along from Panaroma XXL which itself is not worth the time or effort.
