Very cute and located where all the action in Sedona is. In fact the room’s door is just a few feet away from the main road. However it was extremely uncomfortable. The room is tiny, with nothing to sit on except the bed. There is no service per se, as it is all managed by app. If I went to Sedona again I would find a motel just outside of town that actually has people working in it.

Kinda an old school motel vibe but it’s right in the smack middle of Sedona shopping and eating. Room is simple, clean, quiet and has the amenities you’d expect. Bed was comfy. Yes, it’s more like an Airbnb because there’s really no direct staff on site. However, if you want to spend some time in downtown Sedona, do some shopping and eating; not have to travel too far and have a nice cozy room. This is the place.

My room was damp, smelled musty, and the air conditioner was very load. Even when I turned it off with the remote, it would cycle occasionally and was very disruptive. I would never stay again, nor recommend to anyone.

Nice quaint place. Easy check in. They have door code. I text the person if i need to ask something and they reply fast. We love the king size beds. The cable. We love that its close to shopping and food places. Hotel is center for entertainment. Its difficult to park due to parking is next to street where car passes. I hope they will have extra more light fixture such as mybe extra lamps(too dark) plus we didnt open the blinds for privacy. And more mirrors.theres only 1 mirror in the bathroom. I have to wait for family to finish using bathroom for me to get ready.

In the middle of Uptown Sedona, several shops and restaurants in walking distance. There is also a hiking trail down Jordan road that connects to several sites like the Soldier pass and seven sacred pools. Awesome location to stay in

This was my second time staying at the Star Motel and it was fantastic (just as I remembered it from when I stayed with my friend years ago)! I booked room 11 (with two bedrooms) for me and my two moody teenagers, and it was WAY bigger than I expected and we were all very comfortable. The location in uptown Sedona couldn't be more perfect...everything is right there within walking distance. Each room at this little motel is a little bit different, so it is a good idea to contact them and tell them what you are looking for. Our room felt like an apartment and was one of the reasons our stay in Sedona was so relaxing and wonderful.
