A Few Issues
We had a hard time finding the rental. Turns out that the address on the listing didn't match the actual location of the property. Parking was easy with free city parking just steps from the door.The location is good, just a half-block from the city circle and its new park. Despite the location, the views from all windows are back alleys, with the kitchen window overlooking construction access, with a Porta-Potty right under the kitchen window. The windows in the main area are covered with drapes which cannot be opened.The beds were different than the listing described. There was not a twin bed as described in the listing. There was one double bed and a queen size pull-out sofa. Mattresses on both beds were uncomfortable, and there were no sheets for the pull-out.The kitchenette was convenient, with a K-cup coffee maker and coffee provided. However, there were no pots or pans. We couldn't even make eggs or toast.There were clean towels in the bathroom. But the water pressure in the entire unit was almost none, barely a trickle. There was no soap for the shower, so we had to shower using the liquid hand soap.Communication from the host was just adequate, not detailed or welcoming.The price of the rental is good, but I guess we get what we pay for.
