The property was lovely. We had a great time and the staff was great. I wish the parking was free since the room is so expensive, but it still wasn’t too pricey.

There does not seem to be any management of the property. Had an issue with bugs in my sink and asked to be called by management. They never came. The team that works the overnight cannot help.

The Heathman has a reputation of being fabulous. It was very nice. Had I not stayed at a different and exceptional hotel (for the same price) the night before ,I probably wouldn't have been so aware of The Heathman's shortcomings. The location is wonderful in the epicenter of Kirkland's hot spots. The service was fine. Some of the staff was undertrained but everyone was polite. The room was nice but again nothing spectacular. For the price I paid I wouldn't expect it to be a four or five star hotel- but I believe it is.... there is nothing wrong with The Heathman- it just didn't stand out as fabulous and is definitely not worthy of the réputation it used to have.

The staff at this hotel are unlike any I’ve experienced in the US lately. They were very accommodating and attentive with a focus on high quality service. The hotel itself is very nice and very clean and an overall excellent value.

Room 125, on the ground floor, was noisy, garbage truck noises early each morning. Location in Kirkland village great. Staff friendly. Too expensive and not quite up to the standards of the Portland and Vancouver, WA, locations which are also expensive but worth it. Breakfast chef made an lousy omelet, 8/24.

Hotel picture in travel websites make the hotel appear as if it is set back from the road with a yard/garden in front. No; it is right on a somewhat busy street. The room was nicely appointed albeit small. On top of the very high price charged for the room was a charge to valet park your car; no place to park it yourself. Not impressed.

Clean large room with very comfortable bed. Safe area

Everything is excellent except breakfast was disappointing.

problem with toilet seat being loose and two nails sticking up out of the carpet. When brought to the hotel's attention, they said it was fixed while we were out but upon returning, we found that nothing had been done. We called downstairs again with our observation and a maintenance person came up, discovered the problem and immediately remedied the problems. As a matter of fact, there were two nails in the rug, not just one. The other annoyance was barking dogs in the hall.

Three night stay appreciated the extra service like the fitness center and complimentary shuttle.

Check in was quick and staff upgraded us without us even asking. Extremely receptive and courteous staff and the room exceeded my expectations all around. I'd definitly stay here again if I'm in the area.

It was small but very well furnished and maintained.

Dear T., Thank you for your taking the time to post your review, and that you enjoyed our nicely appointed rooms. They will become even more well appointed this fall as we renovate all 91 of our guest rooms and suites. The image you mention of our exterior was taken from across the street to get a full building perspective. We are definitely in the heart of a vibrant lakeside city, just two blocks from a beautiful marina / park. As a city property, parking options are limited, hence our valet only availability. It is onsite, and we are able to get cars quickly for our guests. We hope to see you again on future travels to Kirkland! Sincerely, Troy Longwith General Manager
