This high-rise condo is a bright and inviting space, with large windows framing views of the surrounding Seattle skyline. The freshly renovated kitchen is a highlight of the interior, offering sleek stainless steel appliances, beautiful tile backsplash, and both a peninsula breakfast bar and a windowside bistro table for at-home dining.
You can work easily from home here, with complimentary WiFi and a desk workspace with a grand city view. After a day of exploring the Emerald City or attending a conference at the convention center, take the elevator upstairs, toss the day's clothes in the washer/dryer, and unwind by watching one of the smart TVs in the living room and bedroom.

The Elektra building features a boiler heating system typical of older buildings. While it provides warmth during your stay, you may experience some noise as it operates. VRBO Apt near Convention Center
There is much to like about this apartment, but this is a mixed review. The one bedroom apartment is super-well located for the convention center and downtown Seattle. It has a great city view, was clean, and well laid out. The down sides were that we had difficulty getting entrance into the building, poor initial instructions about entry and exit, electric outlets did not in kitchen (although all appliances did), and overhead light in the bedroom did not work.

Ancient heating system, annoying check-in process
Positives:Great location. Super easy walking distance to sights, amenities, restaurants, cafes. Condo was as described, and although very near the freeway, was very quiet. Negatives:Annoying check-in process. This is actually a Vacasa property which meant I received texts from VRBO, Vacasa, and a separate person from Vacasa (?) that we were required to meet to check-in. I don't like communicating outside the app because I've been scammed before. This made it impossible. Condo was boiling hot and there was no obvious way to adjust the temperature. No instructions were left and the guy that showed us in failed to provide info on the system. Sent a message through the app and was told to look for the thermostat on the walls. Duh? Already did that. No response to my follow up so I called 3 hours hours later. After 30 minutes, finally heard from someone who knew the layout. Turns out, the heat was already off! It's a caveman boiler system that just emits heat even when turned off. Was instructed to open windows...on the 12th floor, with no screens, heavy rain, and 40degree temps. Did it anyway because we were sweating bullets. Neither TV worked. Ceiling fan in bedroom didn't work. Pillows sucked.
